Course was in excellent shape, greens were very well kept, and boy were they challenging. While the fairways where wide open and greens reachable in regulation, once on the putting surface you best be able to read the breaks, there in lies the challenge. Great course, great price, excellent greens. Played it 2 days Saturday the 11th and Monday the 13th. Had a great time.

Basic layout, typical of a municipal course. "Pro shop" staff was not friendly when we arrived. Went to play 9 holes after 3:00 but they only offered a twilight rate of $33 for all you can play. Not a great value for this course. Conditions were good, with decent large greens and maintained fairways. Not in the best neighborhood. Will not be returning to this course.

I have been playing this course for the past three years, and I have never seen the course in as good a condition as it is right now.

The greens are in excellent shape, and I was really impressed yesterday, as the overall condition of the course is just the best that I have ever seen it.

Nice course! Will definately come back. Other than you drive right the the ghetto of atlanta EVERYTHIGG was overall good. The course is nice layout. And nice grass.

The course itself justified the cost, but when factoring in the painful pace of play (5.5 hour round) and lack of oversight by course personnel to ensure a proper pace, I doubt I will be returning there any time soon. Do NOT go on a Saturday morning. That said, if you're looking for a course to play during a less crowded time/day, I would recommend giving this one a shot.

Compared to the last time I played this course it is in excellent condition. The greens are rolling fast and true and the fairways rival any course in the Atlanta area. The only thing that was a little annoying was to many singles wanting to play through our foursome. I will definitely play this course again. Keep up the good work grounds crew.

It was my first time to play a golf in Browns Mill. I found this course from golfnow.com and at first, I did not like it because of its name. (I don't know why.) A friend and I went to south-west area from Atlanta but it rained. So, we gave up our golf on Wednesday. However, there was no rain when we almost arrived at Atlanta and we searched for available golf courses. I registered golfnow.com and booked 18 holes in Browns Mill because it is cheaper than the price in clubhouse. The person in the clubhouse was very friendly. Courses were little bit long for me but the condition of them were best. I think I would play in Browns Mill often.

Both times tee time canceled without any notification. Due to tournament scheduled. Staff unapologetic or helpful. Don't go near this place.

Very nice course, lots of natural obstacles. The staff is accommodating. I would recommend this course for a relaxing afternoon for the occasional weekday afternoon round of golf.

Tee to green this course is beautiful many holes to birdie and a couple holes with potential for eagle. Love the course plus got a great deal on Golf Now less than $15 on Sunday.

I play here a good bit and it's a fun course. They need to punch the fairways more and overseed to get more grass in certain areas. Tees times need to be better organized. Overall, I'll play it again, good money for a city course.

I don't really expect much from city courses but for a course that's in good shape like this, more effort should be put into making sure pace of play is regulated! The first thing I notice when I play here is that there are no Marshalls on the course! There is one guy at the first tee to make sure the course got their money and after that no signs of them on the course! I've seen this course many many times look like tee times are booked 3min apart! I was surprised when I played last that it wasn't as packed! But after all it was a tues afternoon! Also my last time out I've witnessed a group (twosome) start off on 10th hole while two other groups were making the turn and the 1st tee was wide open! Sometimes its necessary to start a group off on back but if a twosome is gonna slow up the whole back side then something has to be done! Hence Marshalls!! Course is in good condition and can be more fun if it was managed a whole lot better! My golf groups totally avoid Saturday rounds here! Don't have time for 5+hr rounds

Every day after 2 o'clock the price to play this course is $13! Nice course for all levels of player!

We really enjoyed playing the course it was very easy. There were many golfers out for the afternoon,so it was backed up on every hole. Thank goodness the golfers could play.
Upon arriving at the course and checking in the carts had not been cleaned out,which I found to be unacceptable. To save time we removed the trash from the cart and headed out to play. Also there was no one to bring refreshments out on the course. This could be a part time job for a community person.
This first I played the course in three years . I was impressed the maintenance of the courses.

The greens were a bit bumpy trying to put, but were covered in a nice layer of grass with no bald spots and were appropriately cut. They probably just need to roll them but everything else on the course was very good.

Course was well maintained greens must have been recently aerated and rolled a little rough. Overall it was up to par and was wide open I will be back.

The course was in great shape given the weather conditions. It had rained a lot the day before, and the course drained well enough we weren't restricted to cart path only. The fairways are wide, and the tee shots are very forgiving. The only down side is that the course is in a terrible neighborhood. But for the value, the course was is terrific shape and was a fun round of golf.
