Desert Dunes Golf Course

Really enjoyed the course. The staff here are exceptional. Professional, courteous, and friendly. they really know how to make you feel welcome and Special.

The layout of the course is excellent. The greens a rolling really well. With a little bit of cleanup and work on the sand traps this would be a number one course in the valley..

Otherwise, we enjoyed the day end the course. We would come again..

They said it would be windy & they didn’t lie. Would love to play this course on a calm day but not sure it ever happens here. 3-4 clubs more into the breeze & not much shelter made it a very tough round. Hard to be fair given these conditions.

Course looks like it was really in good shape a few years ago

The conditioning is certainly not top notch, but it is good

We payed for $80, would not pay more than that

Sand traps were very wet and hard

Need more sand and to be completed raked every morning

I usually play this course as my first course when i go to Palm Springs as it open and usually economical . The sand traps were unplayable as they were not looked after at all. Hard panned so much you couldn't hit out of them and so had to throw the ball out. Normally I would recommend this course to people but this time around I was quite disappointed in the condition. Staff were great and clubhouse accommodations are fine just the course is slipping some since I have played it in the past.

We were behind a party of six which made the pace very slow. There was another group of six not to far in front of them, and then someone told us that there was a group of ten. I have never played a course that would let this ever happen.

Staff is fine. Had a late morning tee time & wanted to warm up but they were picking the range so it was closed. Not very good planning. Course conditions were fair at best. Greens we’re pock marked but actually putted OK.

Bunkers were like concrete, ball cleaners were bone dry. Cart girl was very pleasant. Played on a deal so we had a reasonable rate. Would probably go back & give them another chance but only at at a decent rate.

The course has drastically declined since we last played five years ago. Too bad we won’t be back ever.

I think this is a great layout, and one of these days I’m going to catch a day there when the wind isn’t blowing 30 mph. When that day happens, it will be a great day!

No one at bag drop or when finished Playing. Carried clubs to car. NO RANGE BALLS WAS TOLD TO ASK DOWNSTAIRS AND MAYBE THEY'D HAVE A FEW EXTRA. I have allways liked this course but is not in very good shape as are the washrooms ect. Staff I did see were very nice

This is a nice inexpensive place to play. A few of the greens are a little rough, but worth the money paid.

Unfortunately, we played on a cold and very windy day. The layout is great but the traps are unplayable and the greens are poor. I would like to play again if the conditions improve.

Known for being windy, not today, perfect day. Great course, no houses, no back yards. Losing your ball in the briar patch is easy, just forget about it! Love the course and appreciate the PS area value. Very friendly and helpful staff.

If I could give 0 stars I would Really bad shape. It’s not fairways and rough it’s clover and they don’t even cut it properly. I have played this club before and it was OK I wasn’t expecting a great course but the layout is good and it could be fine but it has gone down hill. Not even worth $20 if you ask me.
