Desert Dunes Golf Course

Excellent Course which is fun to play if it’s not windy.

Nice design but lacking in maintenance. Greens a bit sketchy and fairways sparse in spots. Feels run down a little.

The condition is like a poorly managed municiple course. Not worth the half of what i paid. Green is particularly in bad shape. Bunkers i have experenced have little to no sand. Lost respect and interest of play after few holes.

I played there several times in the past until 4 years ago. Nothing has been improved. I will never play there again. Bad greens and bad fairways.

This course I am sure in its day was fabulous...but now some of that luster is gone. a bit warn, but the Roadrunners are fun to watch

Poorly groomed course w no defined fairway. On course bathroom toilets didn’t flush. Staff were nice and friendly and tried to keep pace play w slow and beginner golfers. Good for beginning golfers w no expectations but not for experienced golfers who play well groomed courses.

Insanely windy and every shot requires club up 2-3 clubs with wind and only couple T shots are down wind. Cold entire 18, very patchy greens, fairways, in rough areas, and bunkers are virtually mud. Nowhere near worth the almost $100 fee if looking for a consistent quality course. Layout is good but that’s not what an even everage handicap player cares about. I will most definitely never return to play this goat track unless fees drop under $50

Course and Facilities looks like it has been neglected or not funded. The fairways are in poor shape. Getting yardage from the fairway is not marked very well. Carts do not have GPS yardage. The greens are large and very undulating, putting the ball close is difficult. Many of the greens are elevated from the fairway as well. The layout is good one overall. The snack bar/food takes a long time if you stop between nines and 2 groups went through. The course is a 35-45 dollar course in the shape it is in. It needs to be manicured and brought back to charge more than 45 dollars.

Challenging layout. Course has not been well maintained. Very windy!! Looks like it was great at one time.

Unless the price goes under $50 this course offers nothing but a below average experience. T boxes, fairways, GREENS, and the rough we’re all patchy with bare spots crab grass and areas that could be kept up with the slightest effort or treatment. It often requires clubbing up multiple clubs due to extreme usual windy conditions. The practice area is worse than the course. I will not return and would not recommend wasting $90 on this goat track !!!

Course is a neat layout but conditions were awful. Greens in terrible shape, inconsistent speeds and very spotty with lots of bare patches. Absolutely would not recommend or play again.

This course is a hidden gem. Surrounded by sagebrush on the road to DHS, Desert Dunes does not impress on arrival but, this Trent Jones designed course delivers. Needs a little TLC but, well worth the money. Loved it.

So many beautiful courses in the area. This one should be 30 dollars. Slow and not in good shape. Rip off!
