Desert Dunes Golf Course

Staff was friendly and helpful.. course was in terrible condition. Greens were very slow. It looked like better days were in the rearview mirror.

Layout is good. Not an easy course which made it fun.

We played under extreme wind conditions with some rain the first two holes. The course is very challenging with many elevation changes due to the design. You must stay in the fairway as there are many slopes to contend with. There are many sand traps protecting the greens. Water comes into play on a few holes. The course is well maintained and the greens are a litlle slow but consistent. We palyed the course twice last week and would play it again.

Don't know if this course is always windy, but it sure was today.

Overall the grass conditions were good, from tee to green. Bunkers, hard as cement! No signage on the tee boxes as to hole length, had to refer to the scorecard or seek out the ground plack. Liked the painted stones for distance to the greens. Played twilight and the clubhouse was padlocked shut when we finished, no bathrooms available.

Overall, enjoyed the course as it was decent value in this overpriced golf mecca!

Second time here. The course needs some TLC. Greens could use fertilizing as could the fairways. Traps need sand. A rigorous face lift is in order. Our cart died at the 16th green. They got another one out to us in about 30 mins. I thought they might over a drink or more for the inconvenience, but nothing!!

Course is nicely laid out and staff are ultra friendly. I will definitely come back to this course!

This course is one of my very favorites! The layout is fun, challenging and doable for a woman golfer. The greens are perfect but the grass could use a little fertilizer for the weeds. Overall, I love this course and would highly recommend!

Played on a Sunday morning in late October when most of the other local courses were closed for overseeding.

Layout is fun/interesting. Staff is friendly. Rough was thick and high and needed to be mowed. Very hard to find balls then just barely missed fairway. A little too penal IMHO. Clubhouse is a little old and dusty but they make a nice breakfast burrito.

A twosome showed up out of nowhere and jumped ahead of the group ahead of us -- really slowed the pace to a crawl. No marshall on course to deal with it. Called pro shop -- no action taken. Disappointing.

Course was in wonderful shape, including greens -especially compared to other courses in October that are reopening after overseeding. Weather was perfect with no wind. Course staff were helpful and friendly and amenities were clean. We will be back!

Very disappointing. We quit after 9. Backed up on every hole and had to wait on every shot. Maintenance of course has gone way down. Like playing off of dirt...taking this off our list of courses to play.

This was at the end of October...over-seeding season. The greens were slow, but still rolled true. The fairways were in decent shape, but the grass could have been cut shorter. The rough; however, was tough to find a ball because it was pretty thick (about 2.5 inches). The ball would sit down in the rough, and unless you marked it perfectly, you weren't going to find it.

I tried the breakfast burrito at the restaurant...it was great!!! The overall service was good too. I would play here again, if given the chance, but probably before off-season.
