Desert Dunes Golf Course

We had a great time playing Desert Dunes. The staff are really friendly and attentive. The course was in very good condition. Will definitely play again next time.

The Robert Trent Jones Jr. design and the detail provided by Les Furber have created a challenging, picturesque course. Lots of variety in the layout provides an enjoyable experience. I feel, though, that the course is a little underfunded because the whole place looks a little run down, as if Desert Dunes can’t afford a large enough greens crew. For example, the sand traps need attention and a lot more sand, a sure sign of budget cuts, still, the course is a lot of fun to play an I’ve booked two more rounds for next week.

Compared to other courses in the Coachella Valley, Desert Dunes is great value for the money and every bit as much fun to play as, say, the PGA West overpriced courses.

This was a great round for me and three friends, we had an amazing time trying to navigate the blind shots and the challenge of the layout, all the meanwhile enjoying beautiful views and the solitude that came with it. The course has a it’s challenges but overall, the course was in great condition with a few minor patches on the greens. I would gladly play here again and would overall recommend it to anyone at any level.
