Desert Dunes Golf Course

Course was lush, fairways overgrown - need a cut - often hard to find a ball. Tee boxes were good. Greens were bumpy, lots of brown spots.

Golfers are not repairing their ball marks.

Fun course. Tough but manageable.

The course layout was awesome. The first couple of holes were still looking a little rough but after that the course was in great shape!! I have never seen such friendly and welcoming staff, they truly cared about your experience at their course. The back was totally different from the front and made it very interesting every hole of the whole round. I will definitely be back and would recommend to anybody who is looking for a great course for the price!

The course was marginal. They had just reopened. The back 9 hadn’t been mowed. Fairways were marginal. However the wind was unbearable 25-35 mph and this is normal due to the location of the course. The wind always blows here. The driving range is a joke. If this is your only choice stay at the pool. The breakfast sandwich was awesome but not worth the drive.

We used to play this course when it was pristine 20 years ago. There is so much potential. I really recommend that everyone give it a shot, just to play such a great layout for such a good price. What was really great however, was that all of the young staff was so kind and accommodating. You can tell they are teaming up to do what it takes to bring this course back to life. Be sure to ask for Stephan, Javier was very helpful too.

Course was a little shaggy, but the greens were very slow with dead patches. They need to spend a little money getting the course up to snuff

Beautiful setting, challenging from the 6200 yard markers.Sand traps need sand and repair, many of the holes need direction markers.,but overall it was fun and challenging.

Great Design and fun to play, surprised nto well kept and no rentals , horrible that don't have sticks to rent

A great RTJ layout! Too bad it's "best before" date has expired. Dunes is now a lower price value course. Enjoy the layout and picture it in its prime. Yes, many bunkers are trash and many greens are patchy (how hard is it to grow grass here..really. no excuse).

However, you get what you pay for,...a great classic layout past its prime for a value rate compared to the rest of the valley. .

The entry to the course is quite run down but the course is actually in great shape and the views spectacular.

The staff very helpful and friendly.

It is good to support this course as an affordable option to many pricey courses in the valley.

Greens we’re in rough condition the mower was leaking oil and leaving dime to quarter spots all over let the starter know.

Second time in a week and a half the golf cart battery went dead, first time lost time to finish round 7 holes and yesterday lost 7 holes waiting to be towed back to the clubhouse. Ask for a raincheck so I could play the remaing holes and was told no. Will not play or reccommend this course.

Loved the course itself and would play it again, but. When we arrived at the bag drop there was a bunch of garbage lying in the ground from the day before. It appeared that this course is having staffing problems as there was hardly anyone there as far as workers went.

Just not the same golf course experience that you get at most courses in the Palm Springs area.
