Enagic Golf Club at Eastlake

Course conditions were poor. Greens were recently punched so that’s understandable but fairways were over watered and muddy. Cart path only which again understandable because of the overseeding, but muddy from cart to fairway almost every hole. See photo.

Need to start putting on golf now an erration notice so people do not spend top dollar for a course and get limited play was not allowed to take cards on the grass and the fairways we're going off limits to carts and the greens were errated and filled with sand definitely not worth the 90 plus dollars I paid to play when the course is fully open yes I would pay $90 to play but right now no

Course used to be in great shape. Now patchy weedy fairways and rough mud areas disappointing for $90

The practice putting green is in perfect shape and that's where it stops. The tee boxes were beat and longer than the rough. Greens looked like everyone who played in the past 30 days wore football cleats and size 15 shoes with plenty of bare spots painted green. Fairways were tough to find grass riddled with bare dirt, GUR and mud pits. Really a disappointment especially for what they're charging.

Early on in the year this place was a hidden gem, but somewhere around June/July they decided to let it turn into an absolute dumpster fire. There were multiple occasions throughout my most recent round that I hit a perfect drive right up the fairway and was rewarded with a ball position with nothing but weeds or dirt. No grass is sight.

Early on in the year I explored the idea of signing up for their enagic annual pass, dodged a few thousand dollar bullet by not doing it. Thankfully.

Better lies in the rough than fairway. And a week before the SD County open! Terrible shape and value.

Greens were awful… more divots than I’ve ever seen. And it wasn’t just that greens were in terrible condition period. Tons of burnt out spots on the fairways. Tee boxes were not great either. Honestly not worth the money even for a twilight rate. The layout is cool and was probably a really nice course at one point. But the rates currently are wayyyy overpriced. Only saving grace was we got lucky with the pace of play.

I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews but I’ve played here multiple times and had the same issues. First of all, pace of play was TERRIBLE. We finally finished the 13th hole FOUR hours into the round and had to bail because we had plans. Not the first time that’s happened here. Also, I hate “complain about conditions” guy but the course is just in really bad shape. Dirt all over the fairways, tee boxes are rough, greens are okay but not great. The first few times I played I figured the new ownership group was putting work into the course and it would improve, but that is just not the case. Skip this one

Had a great time playing this course! The layout is super fun, and overall the course feels as though it is improving the conditions of the grass. The fairways and greens were a little soggy at times, but trying to recover grass after a drought is hard and is a necessary part of grass recovery is saturation in water so it’s totally understandable. For the money it is a great coarse, has a ton of potential to be such a nice coarse, fun layout, and conditions are super playable and are improving! I would come back and gold here again and again!

The course was coming back very nicely from a year ago when it was nearly unplayable. Now its 18 holes of ground under repair and weeds in the fairways. Greens are still above average though.

With all the work their doing I don't know why they wouldn’t just close it for a stretch or at least lower the price.

Sadly, I won’t be back until the conditions are better.

Starter was rude, we simply dove our carts to line up and the start screamed don’t go until they get to the green and stay off the cart path… absolutely ridiculous. We lined up when the other group was waiting for their turn on the tee. We ordered drinks and we asked for a bag of ice, the girl said it was 10 dollars for a bag of ice! That was ridiculous, to make matters worse we were backed up the entire time, 3-4 mines each hole. You know it’s a crap round when you can see 3-4 groups ahead of you during. you can see if you zoom in this photo

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had. Only their course design was nice everything else was garbage

Highly recommend going somewhere else.
