Enagic Golf Club at Eastlake

I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews but I’ve played here multiple times and had the same issues. First of all, pace of play was TERRIBLE. We finally finished the 13th hole FOUR hours into the round and had to bail because we had plans. Not the first time that’s happened here. Also, I hate “complain about conditions” guy but the course is just in really bad shape. Dirt all over the fairways, tee boxes are rough, greens are okay but not great. The first few times I played I figured the new ownership group was putting work into the course and it would improve, but that is just not the case. Skip this one

Had a great time playing this course! The layout is super fun, and overall the course feels as though it is improving the conditions of the grass. The fairways and greens were a little soggy at times, but trying to recover grass after a drought is hard and is a necessary part of grass recovery is saturation in water so it’s totally understandable. For the money it is a great coarse, has a ton of potential to be such a nice coarse, fun layout, and conditions are super playable and are improving! I would come back and gold here again and again!

The course was coming back very nicely from a year ago when it was nearly unplayable. Now its 18 holes of ground under repair and weeds in the fairways. Greens are still above average though.

With all the work their doing I don't know why they wouldn’t just close it for a stretch or at least lower the price.

Sadly, I won’t be back until the conditions are better.

Starter was rude, we simply dove our carts to line up and the start screamed don’t go until they get to the green and stay off the cart path… absolutely ridiculous. We lined up when the other group was waiting for their turn on the tee. We ordered drinks and we asked for a bag of ice, the girl said it was 10 dollars for a bag of ice! That was ridiculous, to make matters worse we were backed up the entire time, 3-4 mines each hole. You know it’s a crap round when you can see 3-4 groups ahead of you during. you can see if you zoom in this photo

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had. Only their course design was nice everything else was garbage

This course is very poorly maintained. Worst muni course I’ve played , maybe ever but definitely in awhile. Matches Tecolote canyon conditions. Don’t waste your time or money. Playing from crab grass and dirt fairways.

Had a good time playing here. Only problem we had was from the second hole to the third hole you have to cross a major street and then drive another 600 feet tenth third tee. I would recommend signage as to what side of street you need to be on. We took the wrong side and our golf cart stalled. Very hard to push. Definitely need more signage on which side of street to be on!

I've played Enagic (Eastlake) countless times, and it is one of my favorite courses. The current ownership group has invested time and money into the facility. But the condition of the course is still disappointing. The tee boxes are shabby, the sand is inconsistent. The rough hadn't been mowed but that is understandable due to the recent rain, but it was unplayable and inconsistent. The fairways are not in good condition. The staff is always great, and the facilities are good. The price point is just too high for the condition of the golf course. Look for other golf options. Come back at another time.

It’s good to see upgrades to the course but it’s in real poor condition. Green were soaked so everything stuck and created ball marks even at a couple yards off green. It was in great shape spring and early summer but not worth the time now.

The course has been maintained very poorly, a lot of brown spots, no grass on the fairways. It is really overpriced.

This course has had a real problem now 2 summers in a row of the fairways being almost completely burnt out and needing serious repair. Lots of spots where you need to move 5-15yds to find grass. It was 97 degrees and they were running sprinklers trying to preserve what they could.

The greens are in great shape is the only positive right now. I play here once a month but will be passing for a few months until the grass has grown back.

Course in bad shape except the greens. Course was in terrible shape for the set prices. The only part of the course it was good is the greens which were spotless and fast. Fairways had way too many dead spots sometimes you had to move the ball 5 to 10 yards just to find a piece of grass. I would not recommend this course at this price.

The course is fun but has deteriorated this summer. Plus there was a large group/tournament just prior to my Tee Time that caused the pace to move at a snail's pace. It was 95 degrees out there too. There was a Marshall who did not or could not move the thing along. Not a fun day.
