Greens were good but the course was in terrible shape. Not worth the $$
SHOCKED!
I've played this course several times before and after the name change. I must say I was not a fan of the price change but had to yield to positive changes to the course. But today I was shocked, 14 of 18 holes had large multiple Brown spots in the fairways coupled with super saturated conditions due to early mornings over watering made for a messy outing. 40% grees were beat. Cart refreshment personnel and grounds crew were friendly and professional. The pro shop attendant was emphatic in stating that I must ride two to a cart even in COVID protocol conditions. One note my tee time was 0700, plenty of carts were available and I offered to pay extra. One would think safety of your clients would come first. 85 was a good score (12.6 index) in poor conditions. Truly SHOCKED!
Great value!
Nice course, friendly staff and the course is in great shape.
Bad condition
I played this course several times, but the course condition is getting worse with increased green fee.
Not worth $90 on Weekend.
Every tee shot landed on dirt or patchy area in the fairway.
They leave mowed grass on the course.
You cannot find your ball on the rough area due to the long hairy grass.
Pace of play is always delayed.
Under these conditions, I would never recommend to my friends.
This course uses to be in good condition for a while.
I hope they improve the condition of this course.
Course design is fun.
It's been better
I've played here a lot and the course just wasn't the best I've seen in the past. Fairways had some rough spots: not all grass and some holes were over-watered and swampy.
Great Course but unable to contact GolfNow on a previous refund
I play Enagic frequently and I’ve only had good experiences playing this course. I’ve used Golf Now to book tee times for about a year now. I decided to pay for the membership due to waived convenience fees and the option to cancel tee times up to an hour before. I recently canceled a tee time 3 days prior due to Covid. My account shows available funds equivalent to my refund. I have yet been able to use this “available balance” on any tee time reservations since. It is nearly impossible to contact GolfNow. I tried to retrieve my refund through my bank only for the claim to be reversed.
Good layout
Greens are in great shape. Course is getting a little brown on the fairways and some areas under repair. However, need to share a cart if you are a single. Can’t believe they do that during a pandemic. Most courses you can get your own carts. Also, they discontinued their walking fee. So get charged for a cart if you decide to walk. Not very customer friendly.
Been better before.
I’ve played Enagic several times and was always great. My latest visit was pretty terrible. Started 20 minutes late and took over 5 hours for the round. The fairways were a patchwork of dirt, yellow or dried grass, nice grass, weeds. Rough was full of puddles, wet and muddy. Overall course condition considerably worsened in the last couple of months. Definitely not worth the $75 cost during weekday when you get similar conditions at CV golf course.
Always enjoy this course.
Despite some ongoing fairway repair and greens that were excessive ball marks , the course was good!
Awful
For the 90 dollar price point on the weekend the condition of this golf course is laughable. Dirt patches cover the fairway, areas around the green that are like swamps. There’s a handful of other courses in SD that are deserving of a 90 dollar round on the weekend, this place is not one of them.
Good course
Course plays well. However, some fairways are under repair and looking a little rough from the hot summer days. Greens were in great shape and roll true.
Play as a single most of the time and walk with a push cart. They really need to bring back the walking rate. Can’t believe with that price you can’t get your own cart but have to share with a stranger during a pandemic.so rather walk.
