Always enjoy this course.
Despite some ongoing fairway repair and greens that were excessive ball marks , the course was good!
Awful
For the 90 dollar price point on the weekend the condition of this golf course is laughable. Dirt patches cover the fairway, areas around the green that are like swamps. There’s a handful of other courses in SD that are deserving of a 90 dollar round on the weekend, this place is not one of them.
Good course
Course plays well. However, some fairways are under repair and looking a little rough from the hot summer days. Greens were in great shape and roll true.
Play as a single most of the time and walk with a push cart. They really need to bring back the walking rate. Can’t believe with that price you can’t get your own cart but have to share with a stranger during a pandemic.so rather walk.
Had a Good Time
Good Course. Friendly staff. Always pleasant people playing there.
Last minute deal from GolfNow
Price and location was perfect much better pace during weekdays vs weekend. No Marshall’s to move groups along :(
COVID
There is STILL a pandemic going on and this course use to have a plastic barrier in the cart, separating the 2 golfers: the barrier is gone and they are enforcing a '2 carts per 4some' rule... won't go back until they either put the shields back or change the 2 cart rule. It is just golf and not worth the risk of riding with whoever. I have made it through 2+ years of COVID and at 70 will continue to take care of myself
Overpriced
Course is in bad shape - greens are in good shape though
slow play
over 3 hours for the 1st 9 holes. we quit after 15 holes. called the clubhouse to complain at the start of the back 9. did no good, was put on hold. the parking brake on the cart didn't work. had to cramp the tire to the curb to keep it from rolling away. If I drove off the fairway, the cart would stop working and had to back up slowly. Lots of bare spots in the fairway. after the round, could not drive to my car, so had to schlep my clubs. Not good for 75 y/o me. Used to play here a lot before they went "upscale". Doubt if I will be back,
Great natural vitamin D day
Awesome staff. Great course. Challenging but fair. Some areas that should be marked ground under repair but otherwise course in great shape. Greens were great.
Pro tees or green fairways?
Wonderful that this course is attempting to UP it's game with "PGA" tee boxes, but since 100% of the golfers will use the fairways and only 1% the fancy tees, consider where the biggest benefit might be.
MORE IMPORTANTLY - COVID 19 is not gone! YOUR "2 carts per foursome' rule forces us into an unhealthy situation, if we book as a single, so bring back the plexiglass divider for the carts OR allow for a 3rd cart when singles book a tee time.
Great course!
Excellent condition, good value and friendly staff.
Not bad
Had group in front playing from tips that should've been at whites. Slowed play all day. Course was in decent shape
