South Bay Upgrade
Enagic has become one of my top 3 most common places to golf in San Diego as a 90’s golfer. Incredibly well maintained and always green, challenging and fun holes(especially 9), I’ve never had to wait for a foursome in front of me and they have the little things like how nice the cart is to the quality of food and drinks you get at the turn really make this course a fun one to try out.
Longest Course In San Diego
… and by that I mean a minimum 5-5.5 hour round on a weekday. I can’t even imagine the pace on the weekend. They have a course marshal, but all he did was sit in his cart under a tree and watched groups go by. The 4 some in front held back 3 groups, and they did nothing about it. Even after calling the pro shop, the near death pace continued. You have been warned.
Tee boxes are in good condition, and greens run well (nothing compared to the practice green) and the rough will punish bad shots.
If it wasn’t for the 6 hour round they would have gotten a better review.
Very nice course
First time here. Course was in very good condition. SD County Open was to be played on the coming weekend. Hopefully they maintain the course like this all the time. I’ll be back to see even though it’s not an easy drive to the location. The fairways are mostly forgiving but there are plenty of hazards to make it challenging. Some challenging greens. Shop and other staff were very friendly. Starter was on the gruff side. Price is fair. I highly recommend the course.
great place to play
this course its in great shape the pace of play its excellent the practice facility its in great shape
Great course
Golf was great, had to wait a very long time for our lunch sandwiches at the turn. Did not get a reason and then had to let a group go ahead of us.
Horrible costumer service
I call In to make a reservation I was ask for my credit card to hold T time ok no problem I was told we can pay individually at the course …I show to the course and they tell my group that The T time was pay for ..this guys charge my card with out my authorization..that I not ok I told the to fix it there responds was there is nothing we can do I up to you to go collect ur money back …
Great course!
I’ve been playing Eastlake/Enagic for quite some time now. So far the conditions have always been better than the average golf course. I’ve never had any complaints on their course conditions. We’re in SoCal so of course you’ll get your occasional dry and beat up spots but overall Enagic is looking pretty nice, especially right now. Green fees are high and sometimes worth it, but I stick to their twilights or hot deals on GN.
Good course for the money
This is a great course for the money. You won’t find nicer greens for the price. Fairways were in decent shape. Pace of play was excellent. Played 18 holes on a Saturday morning in 4 hours, playing from the black tees.
Great experience!
Excellent greens and fairways, the course was lovely to play and a wonderful surprise!
