Good but slow
Course in good condition but slow play and no rangers on course to speed up groups
ENOUGH WITH THE ROPES
THIS COURSE HAS HAD ROPES ON EVERY HOLE OBSTRUCTING A CART FOR GETTING TO YOUR BALL FOR YEARS NOW. IT IT RUINING A DECENT DAY OF GOLF. GE THEM DOWN!
Rough Experience
“Farmers Insurance Qualifier” in the course details got me. Course was in terrible condition. Greens were long and under extensive repair. Fairways were roped off 90% and NO WALKING RATE WHICH IS CRAZY. Pace of play was stunted due to the roped off fairway. Bunkers are unplayable, rock hard and unkept. Many courses in better shape for much less. The course pro needs to go play 18.
5 hour round
drunk group slowing down entire course. i wish the staff was a vigilant with pace of play as they are with geo fencing on the carts and roping off all the fairways.
Good time at good course
Great layout and facilities with fantastic staff level of service. Greens were inconsistent and a bit slower than expected, but overall it's a winner of a course; especially for Chula Vista residents.
Poor conditions
Played this a few times over the years. Worst I’ve ever seen it. At best worth $40, but charging $100 for a course in need of care. Never again
unremarkably terrible
staff is extremely rude and unfriendly. more than half of the fairway is roped off due to bad conditions. greens were unplayable. too many patches and extremely slow. worse than playing on carpet.
Bumpy,Patchy,Ugly fairways. Disgustingly overpriced.
The traps are in terrible condition. Hardpan because the are not raked or worked.
Great Greens, but Not Worth the Price
I recently played this course, and honestly, it did not meet my expectations given the price.
Positives:
Greens: Definitely the best part of the course. They were in excellent condition, fast, and well-maintained, which made the game more enjoyable on the greens.
Areas to Improve:
Fairways: The conditions were disappointing and below what I expected for the price.
Bunkers: There was inconsistency; some were in good condition, but others were too hard and difficult to play from.
Pace of play: The game was slow, which negatively impacted the overall experience.
Conclusion:
Overall, the course does not justify its cost. While the greens are excellent, the rest of the conditions and the general experience fell short. I’m giving it 3 stars solely because of the outstanding greens.
Buy some sand
Most of the traps had no sand you can not drive on 80% of the fairways so you should tell your customers it pretty much cart path only
Needs alot of work
The track is great but the fairways are very bare and need alot of work. The greens were bumpy but at least the grass was good
