Very… slow pace of play
It would be nice if they had rangers to keep the slow golfers moving. You should not have to play a 3 hour front 9 and other hour and 10 mins to play holes 10 - 13 then I quit, could not take anymore of the slow play.
It’s a simple fix just keep the pace of play moving, so all golfers can enjoy their round of golf.
Great city course
New cart paths, fantastic!
Carts are beat up, not a single cart without torn up seats
Great sand bunkers with new sand, excellent!
Greens very playable, somewhat bumpy but consistent, good grass coverage on smaller sized greens.
Fairways good grass coverage but play preferred lies and you're good.
Excellent layout, very challenging holes. Some very tight fairways for driving.
Pace of play for a Thursday 1230 pm tee time was 3.5 hours, excellent!
Very happy with this experience compared to my last time playing here about a year ago. Give it a shot for $30
The quintessential city course, and the definition of a C+
No cart girls on the weekend, remedial course care, no snacks/food in the clubhouse, slow pace of play, shortage of golf carts, and abhorrent tee box conditions. City courses have a mediocre reputation, this course keeps that reputation alive. I paid $45~ through GolfNow, this course… At its best, is not worth more than $35/OTD for 18 holes.
Location Location Location
Not bad for a muni course and the cost. Buckhead location is it's best feature. Greens are pretty good. Several fairways have severe slopes that will not hold a good drive. Large clubhouse with virtually nothing in it. Strange.
Waste of time
Mobile checked-in only to find out they had no carts available . One hour delay with multiple groups waiting to tee off. Requested refund of the round with others as well. Time is limited to play a round of golf with my son and this course’s golf tee time reservation wasted my time and prevented us from playing at another course that day. Disappointed
Great course in Buckhead.
Expect a crowded course but a good time for sure. Nice greens.
Awesome tough little course for $30 tons of blind drives and mostly well-maintained greens that were tough to read all day. I'm definitely coming back.
No food and only water
The clubhouse only has water to drink and no food. I am not exaggerating. They only had water for sale on a hot Saturday in June. They were also short on golf carts and our tee time was delayed by 25 minutes. The course is very poorly run.
Solid for a muni, but bring your own food
I've played this course many times over the years. Of the ATL munis, it's probably as good as it gets. And for the price we paid (a hair under $50 for 18 with a cart), it's a good value. Good mix of challenging holes and others where you can score. Condition of the greens was pretty good. Most fairways were fine, though some were really burnt out.
The biggest problem right now is the same with all the ATL munis since 2020: zero food options. Not a hot dog. Not a burger. Not so much as a bag of chips or a granola bar ... anywhere. I can't imagine how many players have been caught completely by surprise on this, as it's basically unheard of. CoA needs to get themselves together and allow food back at these courses. It's not only absurd on its face, but it's actively cutting into the course's revenue every day they're hamstrung like this. So, the lesson for players: make a sandwich or bring some jerky, pack a cooler, and have whatever you need in there.
