Chastain Park Golf Course

Hardpan everywhere. Sand traps like concrete. No amenities…. Only water and two Gatorades in the clubhouse. No snacks, candy or any snacks at all. Golf carts: ripped seats, dirty-not cleaned off debris and trash from previous use.

The course has a nice, challenging hole layout, but they need to clean up the edges of the fairways. If you get outside the fairways a bit, you may easily loose your ball. They just repaved the cart paths, but now, everything else needs an upgrade. It could be a really AWESOME course. :-)

Course is in decent shape, the golf carts are 3 years past being replaced, seats falling apart and motor sounds like it's falling apart . The greens are decent and fairways are better than normal at this time. The Pace of play was absolutely horrible, we waited every hole for 5 to 10 minutes before we could tee off. May have just been the morning rush because on the back nine we noticed nobody playing on the front nine.

Just a little holiday round. The greens not cut very short but most everything else worked. A bit of a long round but holiday so just go with flow. Met expectations.

This could be a great course. However, it looks like the city government is ignoring its golf courses. The carts are old and don’t work well. There are holes all over the course, grass clippings are left in big piles all over the place. Pace of play was horrible. It easily took me 5 plus hours to play 18.

They need to fix the golf carts, maintain the areas, have food in the pro shop and cart girl- no reason for the golf course to fall apart there's plenty of people playing it.

The condition of this corse is getting worse and worse

Didn’t even get to play, didn’t get a refund either. The line to tee off was about 20 carts long, this place is a joke, don’t waste your time.

Course management should consider pace of play and enforce it; walkers should be more considerate with other players; it is not fine to take their time taking extra practice swings, looking endlessly for balls. Even with ready-golf policy it is a very slow pace because too many high handicap players don't know or don't care about others.

Also should promote 9-hole playing rounds

This course is best located in Buckhead. Nice layout, landscape. The issue is with pace of play. Too many walkers make it slower than already is because is crowded all the time. Should not let people walk or only at certain times (twilight)

Managed to Tee off of 1 before severe weather hit, were told that we can go get electrocuted if we want and go out but wouldn’t get a raincheck, with them forcing you to prepay online maxs it impossible to get money back or a refund even with the course bad conditions unplayable. Will not go again, front desk man was rude as well.

STAY AWAY from Chastain unless you want a 6-hour round. This course is full of beginners and the course is in bad condition. The greenskeeper obviously is sleeping on the job.

Everyone was angry and not nice. No services. No parking. Sad for an 18 hole course.
