Chastain Park Golf Course

Maybe one of the most frustrating golf outings I’ve ever had. First, we were 20 minutes late teeing off because they were so backed up. We then had to wait a minimum of 10 minutes to tee off on each hole. 2 and 3 groups on each tee box waiting. We left after 9 and it had taken 3 hours. The course is actually well kept and a fun layout, but the pace of play is so bad, that I will not be going back.

Not so hidden gem in the city! Great value for the price. And the greens were in pristine condition!

What establishment that serves the public doesn't take cash. Its very incredibly stupid. In the eyes of a real businessman money is money.

Fun course, good for us average Players. Cart paths need repairs.

The course was fun. The greens were extremely fast and seems mostly dead grass and sand. The staff was apathetic at best. The parking situation is bad and not clear directions where to park. The starter was really nice. I would probably not play there again.

Greens were the fastest I’ve played on this year. With the undulatiion don’t miss the speed or you’ll be 8’ past. Overall a good test.

Not a bad municipal course located in the Buckead section of Atlanta. Ok distance, the greens kept fairly decent but you get what you pay for.

Course is great as always. Good layout. Greens were fast and excellent. Pace of play was terrible and put a damper on the round. A marshal needs to actively keep pace of play moving.

The course was in good shape for this time of year. However, the greens were so fast that if you had a downhill putt and missed, your next putt would be significantly longer. Some greens were impossible. Uphill putts to some pin placements rolled back to you. I blame the difficulty of the greens for the 4 3/4 hour round on a Wednesday afternoon.
