Emerald Lakes Golf Course

The golf course was OK but the lady at the front desk was terrible she punished me for making the teatime through golf now. She was complaining how the golf course does not see Money if we book it through GolfNow

After all the rain, the course is playable. The course drained well. The fairways had a few wet spots on 2 holes but overall in great shape which was expected due to winter conditions. The greens are excellent. Staff is nice and friendly.

Little-noticed but in amazing condition and has been for quite a while! Great bunkers and greens.

Great people except for the desk/attendant today, who was surly and borderline rude. Never experienced that before; others sre friendly and helpful.

Solid 9 hole,. Course has always been in great shape. Each hole has some uniqueness, tee boxes differ from hole to hole. Overall for the value and location, it checks all the boxes for a 9 hole and I enjoy playing it.

The course is in great shape and nice layout for a nine hole course. The course has a very nice driving range (mats and grass), putting, and chipping areas.

Better layout than bing mahoney, can actually pull out your driver once or twice. Great practice round.

Fairways were great, bunkers had soft sand and the greens played tough today with pin placements and fast greens.

I have driven by this GC for several years and thought "I should stop and play this course " I did, and it was far beyond my expectations. I would suggest trying it!!

If you have not had a chance go play this 9 hole course, you are missing out! They do an exceptional job keeping this course in mint shape. Not like other City courses where even the bunkers have little or no sand to properly practice hitting your ball out of it. The sand here is white sand, and thick to play out of. A great place to have a great time, and a place that challenges your every stroke. Thumbs up to the City of Elk Grove and Emerald Lakes staff in keeping this Golf Course in great condition. That for sure makes me want to come back and enjoy a fun game of golf! Try it you’ll like it!!

If your looking for a great value and can only squeeze nine holes in, Emerald Lakes is for you. Course is always in great shape and the greens are always some of the best in the area. It has some short challenging holes and throws in a couple driving holes. Its also a good practice facility if that’s what you need. I’m there almost every week. The only drawback is when the local high schools play matches there. Play does get pretty slow.
