Emerald Lakes was a victim of a flood in 2016 but quickly recovered and was in great shape for 2017 Photo submitted by u000003849698 on 03/29/2018
Great course!
This is a well kept reasonably challenging course. Friendly staff and a great driving range. If it was an 18 hole course it would be my favorite!

A. Nice day out with my 13 year old son.. Nobody behind or in front of us on Saturday. Good condition course for price

Pro Shop staff very rude
Tried to make tee two tee times directly one week prior. Woman in shop said they didnt have anything available. I literally walked out of pro shop and booked them on golfnow. Not the first time this has happened with same employee.
Upon arrival for todays rounds, other pro shop employee said there may not be carts. I didnt hear the question so I asked and the woman (who couldnt book the tee times previous week) said very sarcastically “or you can walk.” I like the course and most employees but this one has left a very bad impression on several occasions. I have never complained or been rude in the past. Unsure why she seems so un-accomidating.
We strive to make everyone's visit a great one. Unfortunately we had an incident. The employee mentioned is no longer a part of our team. We have reminded all staff working at Emerald Lakes the customer must always come first and will be treated with the upmost respect and courtesy. We are truly sorry for this incident and we will do everything possible to ensure this does not happen again.
Emerald experience
This is the best maintained corse in the sac valley. Greens are fast and true . Course can be very tough though if you aren’t accurate either driver and wedge lots of water. Course needs a real club house. Driving range very good...

Great First Experience
I am a happy patron, my 7 year old son got to play golf for the first time ever. The course is a perfect starter coarse for anyone learning to play. Short yardage, flat terrain, well maintained playing surfaces and 9 holes made for a perfect place to have my son learn the game. The play was really slow due to a couple inexperienced groups in front of us, but that allowed for time to teach my son the etiquette of the game. All in all, The course is in great shape and a great place to play a fast 9 and get in some good practice.

Greens tough but fair
This course is in great shape. A great value for your dollar and quick pace. The rough is a bit unforgiving, but stay in the fairways to avoid that issue. The sand in the traps is new and nice. A great round. Thank you to the crew there, they are keeping it awesome!
Rushed through this course
Very disappointing. Golf cart was taken by someone else. Rushed through the whole course by the Marshall. I had major anxiety. We will NOT be returning. The course is also under high power lines and had a helicopter flying above the entire time.
Great condition, fast greens, done fast
Have always wanted to play this highway-adjacent 9 holer and got off on a weekday at about 6:30 am. There was one twosome a few holes ahead of me so my pace of place was awesome and at my own leisure. I played a couple balls on each hole and was done 75 minutes.
The greens were freshly cut and FAST. Might the best muni course/executive course greens I have ever been on. Layout was perfect for beginners put challenging enough to keep a scratch player interested. There are some power lines and towers running through the course but I think its kind of cool and gives the course character.
Gentleman in the shop was very nice and helped me out when I lost my credit card on the course.
All in all a really nice experience. I will definitely be coming back!

Great course for a quick 9!
Emerald is a nice little challenging 9 hole course! I play here often due to not always having time for 18. Well maintained, nice staff and great driving range and chip and putt area.

Well kept course all around. Great, fast greens, nice fairways, rough not impossible to hit out of like some courses. Exceptional driving range.

Emerald Lakes is the greatest nine holes i’ve ever played the greens are always perfect the layout is great staff is amazing I recommend this golf course to everyone

Enjoyed our time. Peaceful. Slow play is allowed and we didn’t feel rushed.
