Chateau Elan Golf Club - Executive Par-3 Course

Except for a,few fungus spots on some greens, the course is in good, winter shape. With some mild hills, it's very easy to walk to get some exercise. Just a few clubs needed...wedge, 9, 8, couple of hybrids if playing from back and putter. Carry bag is easy if light, otherwise rent pull cart for 2 bucks. Fun layout with a few water holes!

For a par 3 course at this price, it is unbeatable. The course is in great shape. Good play and no hassle.

The entrance may seem quirky. Pull up to the gate and dial security. The little shack where you verify the purchase is the off-course amenity where I reviewed it lower. But you really don't need anything else. You can pay $2 for a pull-cart here. Small little bathroom inside. There is a small fridge where you can purchase a drink or two. No carts here and really no need for one.

There are water coolers on several holes throughout the course. Always ice-cold water in them.

Tee-boxes are in great shape. Fairways cut nice. Some of the greens have burn in them but mostly were cut good. They hold nicely on many shots.

I usually carry my bag of clubs. Longest hole is 160 yards (hole #9) carrying a lake.

I drive 40 minutes to play this course. It's a good deal and the course is all you could ask for in a par 3. Wish it was 18 holes but you only get 9.

My friend and I are not the most experienced golfers (him never and me only played theee times previously) and the course was great for those needs. Nothing to advanced, but still felt challenged. Would highly recommend a cart roller though, carrying it was not a wise decision. Overall, solid course and I would come back again.

The Chateau Elan par 3 course is one of the best par three courses in the south, if not the country. The course has absoutley everything that a normal golf course would have. There's water deep bunkers and narley rough. There is water on 6 of the nine holes and the atmosphere is fun. The course offers night golf which is an expierence that I would like to expierence. Back it the late nighties and early 2000s the world par 3 championship looked at this as a host course. The staff is very nice and is a fun course for beginners or people looking to work on there iron game. Overall an enjoyable little par 3 nine hole hole course that's at the resort.

First time playing the course. It was in great shape I was surprised to find that I was the only player of the course. Unfortunately for me I took my sweatshirt off I lost my glasses in the process.

I booked my tee time on line and had no problem at all. The staff at the golf course were super friendly and very helpful. I believe the lady's name was Kat and she was fantastic I highly recommend this course and the people working there, thank you all. John G

This 9 hole par three course offers elevation changes, well placed water hazards and visually pleasing sand bunkers throughout the course.

The greens were about 90% healed up from the summer stress on the day I played.

To play the par 3 course, just check in at the regular clubhouse and you can drive to a small parking area by #1 tee.

The Greens had multiple bare spots on all but 1 of 9.

There was no staff available or even present at the course.

There were no scorecards available.

There is no practice area or putting green at the Par 3 facility

Very nice course, especially for a beginner like me. Easy to manage your way from one hole to the next and I like the fact that the last whole was the longest and most challenging.

It was very relaxing and beautiful layout, this was my second time in the course. Really enjoyed the holes.

Greens were fast and in good shape. It was hot, so I really appreciated all the drinking water on the course. The 5$ jr price made for a fun outing with my son.

Course was really short. Nothing over a PW until #9. It is a good spot to practice the short game but anything over the $14 deal is too much.

Very good layout and excellent greens for this par 3 course. However, really need to have someone blow the leaves on the 9th green as the entire green is covered with fallen leaves and with the tee box at about 190 yards out, it's almost impossible to see where the ball is and then you will never find it once you arrived. But overall, a pleasant experience and super friendly staff.

Need a quick 9, par-3 short iron workout? This is the place! #9 is a doozy over water & the other 8 are really nice shots when working the short sticks.

My husband and I love the rate we are able to get using Golf Now. Chateau Elan's 9-hole par 3 course is great for exercise and golf shot improvement. It is very relaxing and some of the holes are challenging enough to help us improve our game. It is particularly good for practicing iron play, pitching, and putting. I look forward to the day when I can play 18 holes without feeling intimidated.

Nice condition and tuff to be so short you don't take the care the course needs when it looks so short .

Great Course! It is great for a quick afternoon fix. It lends to perfecting the short game.

We had a great time playing at Chateau Elan's Par 3 Course. The course was challenging, but still great for even a beginner. We will definitely be going again.

Always enjoy playing this course as it is challenging and also get a bit of excercise as it is walking only. The greens are always in good shape and course layout is good with short and medium length shots.
