Ripped off
Yesterday, the weather was cold, rainy with THUNDERSTORMS. I called the pro shop at least 5 times to see if they were open. No one answered.
We chose not to play because of THUNDERSTORMS.
This morning I called Alta Sierra to see about a rain check. They stated that because we booked through Golf Now they could do nothing. In light of the fact that there were THUNDERSTORMS, and they never answered their phone, I expect a refund of $128.00 from Golf Now.
Surely, Golf Now would not have us play in a THUNDERSTORM, and because Alta Sierra never answered their phone, we assumed they had closed due to weather.
I expect a timely response.

Nice course for the $
Course was in great shape. Pace of play was okay, better than it is at many other courses. Keep an eye out for online rates, and play this course for a very reasonable price.
Why?
We completed the front only to discover the shop had sent groups out to start on the back nine...?
A slow round made longer!
Better golf course
Great course I felt lucky to get to play in a private club
This course is fun to play.
Had a great time playing this weekend moved along ok didn't have to wait very much at all.
Drive 70 miles for 3 holes
Played 3 holes and left the golf course. A family of 6 in front of us were husband and wife, grandma and 2 little kids and they were all hitting balls but even in front of them there were 2 groups waiting at tee boxes because everyone had to wait to get a cart because there weren't any.
Great day of golf !
Course was in good condition considering all the weather they have faced. Pace of play was good and staff was friendly!
First time out this year
This and awesome foothill layout. A little bit rough around the edges, but let's be honest they are coming out of an extreme winter. Based on that I was pleasantly surprised with the conditions of the fairway/ rough.. Greens rolled very well considering it looked as if aerated 7 -10 days ago. The greens are always very slow to me, but again knowing that very fun day
Great course
I live in the Sacramento area and enjoy driving to this course when I can. Greens are fast and it’s a great layout. Not expensive. I’m sure it costs more than most courses closer to me, when I factor the cost of gasoline. But it’s a great atmosphere. No traffic or freeways nearby. Just quiet and enjoyable.
Go play Alta Serria
We love this course. It set in a beautiful setting and the staff is great. Stay after and have a drink or some really good food.
Excellent golf course.
I love this course. It’s a beautiful mountain course with hills and valleys, drop offs to the par 3 green, ponds. So much fun. Conditions are really good but not perfect, but for $30-$40 hot deal it’s great.
