this course has changed for the worse

1)expect to see incompetent yet condescending lady working behind the counter

2)ball collectors and 2/3 off the tee golfers that slow down play

3)the worst gps carts in metro Atlanta that turn off when you are 1 ft away from the fairway

4)ball mark ridden greens

5)leaves everywhere in the fairway

unless you live in this area i suggest you go elsewhere

The pace reminders stole joy from the day. We had great weather, an early start, no one pushing behind us, but the constant reminder of our pace not keeping up made us experience unnecessary pressure. The downside of technology.

The entrance to the course signals you are entering a upscale facility

Clubhouse is tasteful and lunch at clubhouse was excellent

Service is excellent

However the golf course left me underwhelmed

Bent greens were like putty and much slower than Chateau course

Bad shots would stop dead on the greens and no risk of bouncing over

This is despite extremely dry conditions of late

Par 3 - 2nd is brutally hard but then holes 3 thru 6 were dull

Par 5 8th is outstanding hold

13 to 15 are great as well...

Still for the cost of a game mid week.. it was reasonable

As always fun to play. Great layout, friendly staff, and no one on the course. But greens had been recently aerified so not the best.

Knew ahead the greens were punched but it was not that bad. Pace of play was only bad because a foursome in front of us lost steam during the round and really should have played from the whites. A ranger did tell them to speed up the pace as we were 20 mins behind. Fairways in great shape, tee boxes decent, and Sarazen's is always good and reasonably priced. Worth $59 on a Sunday

Sand everywhere and just punched. No notification from the course or Golfnow prior to booking or I wouldn’t have played it. Has potential to be a good course if the greens were in average shape

This has always been a decent/nice course. Always in decent to good condition. There seems to be a contingent of folks playing this course lately, who refuse to fix ball marks. Every single green, was riddled with unrepaired marks. Every green had at least 15 or more of them. I would normally expect the grounds crew to handle this issue. But there are so many of them, it would be a daunting task for any crew to manage. I repaired no less than 4-6 per green, myself. Would love to have contributed to more repairs myself. But that would have made for a 5.5 hour round. Fix your marks PEOPLE!!
