BridgeMill Athletic Club

We were in Atlanta staying with a friend as we had tickets to the Masters and of course brought our clubs for the trip. We knew nothing about courses in the Atlanta area but our friend who lives there suggested Bridgemill and it was a great recommendation. After a short drive on the highway out of Atlanta we came to Bridgemill and we were transported into a secluded golf facility. From the pro shop to the cart barn to the starter, everyone seemed like they wanted to be there to help especially for first timers. The layout at Bridgemill was fantastic, from peninsula greens to tight fairways and elevation changes made this a great time on the golf course. I would recommend this course to any level of golfer looking for a place to play in Greater Atlanta.

We will return! Our only disappointments were that the fairways weird still dormant and know that when the grass comes in, this will be a spectacular track and pace of play on the front nine. Played behind a group that appeared to be mostly beginners and taking a playing lesson, so the front nine was slow. They disappeared at the turn thank goodness. The Pro Shop was nice and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The starter was helpful. Practice/warm-up area wad perfect and convenient. Great layout and easy to follow cart trails. Bar and restaurant were comfortable. The staff set us up in the dining area so we could eat and watch the Mastes on the big screen. Food was high quality and reasonably priced. Already thinking about when we can make a return trip to see it in full bloom.

Heard this course was excellent. It does have some very challenging par 3's but overall I would rate it slightly above average.

Overall the course was in great shape for this time of year and considering how much rain we have had this winter. The greens had been aerated in early March but they have come back really well. The pace of play today was really slow for this course as it took right at 5 hours to play. No really sure why other than the course was full for this time of year. Overall I always enjoy playing this course as it has a great mix of holes and it is always in good to great playing shape. Also, the cost to play here is very reasonable for the course quality.

On the 3rd hole, the sky opened and dumped torrential rain. Ten minutes later it stopped and we played on. This happened several times and we chose to seek a rain check for the back nine because of the soaked, muddy conditions. The attendant told us he could not authorize it because I booked through Golf Now. I find that very disappointing that as a customer I get penalized because I used the convenience of Golf Now. My opinion is that Golf Now should allow the course to extend that courtesy to the customer and GN settles with the course.

Great course to play. Greens are large and fair. Good value for the money. Will definetly play again. Good test for all levels.

Have played this course before and loved it, but this weekend was a different story. They punched the greens a couple of weeks ago, and they weren't displayed as such on golfnow, even though they were unputtable. No beverage cart on a Saturday. My cart died on the 5th hole. My cart has now died twice in the three times I've played there. Bad experience.

nice course, conditions so-so but played early in year, just wish they had told us that the greens had been aerated before we booked.

Really nice range and practice facility. Greens running faster and true. Bunker sand in pretty good shape. I'm a 10 handicap. The member tees are good rotation between Gold and Blue 6500+ yds. Good balance of straight forward holes, challenging with a few tricked up. I would recommend this course.

My friends and I were greeted by a friendly staff but the only downer was that i lost my lobwedge and I am still waiting to hear from the golf shop.

One on the best maintained Golf Courses in Metro Atlanta. Yout will enjoy putting on these well maintained Greens. The 19th hole is upscale and will meet all of your needs.

A great tract and always a pleasure to play. The weather was rainy with rain the previous days which uncovered the courses achillies heal. Drainage! The course just does not drain well so be prepared for puddles in saturated conditions. This did not prevent us from having a great time on a beautiful layout. Just an inconvenience.

Some blind tee shots, some position holes, but plenty of birdie opportunities. Tough track your first time out.

Very nice course. Played in the freezing cold and the course was still maintained. Played from Blues and shot a 105. I usually play courses from Whites and shoot around 97 so this is online with my handicap. Recommend this course for a true golf lover as there are many different layouts of holes (downhill lies, uphill par 4s, true dog leg holes). If short off the tee (under 240 with driver) I strongly recommend playing from Whites.

I have played this course at least six times and would say the course was in the best shape it has ever been. The greens were true and fast. Bridgemill is with out a doubt the best value in North Atlanta. I would encourage anyone looking to play an outstanding course to book a tee time.

loved the course......no one in front or behind us all day

I have played 6-8 different courses in the area in the past few months and Bridgmill is in much better condition than all of the others. Greens were true and consistent speed all 18 holes.

This course was in great shape (except the greens which had been punched two weeks prior and were still quite soft). The holes were interesting, the terrain was visually pleasing and it was a pleasure to play

The only reason I did not put pristine is because the greens were in recovery from aeration.
