Turkey Creek Golf Club
About
Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln sprawls across rolling hills that are covered with mature oak forests. The back nine even closely resembles Germany's Black Forest. The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry that was transformed into an expansive lake that comes into play on the third and final holes. The golf course is formidable, testing golfers with blind shots and uneven lies, but the challenges are nicely balanced by long, open fairways. Water comes into play several times throughout as well as the towering trees that blanket the landscape. The course will keep golfers on their toes but there is plenty of visual respite available. Players can often catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that call Turkey Creek Golf Club home, including deer, quail, foxes, and of course, wild turkeys.

Excellent course, hampered by pace of play
Turkey Creek is a well-maintained, fun and challenging course with great employees. The only issue I had on this round was the 4-some in front of us (a two-some). The players were not only slow, but in several instances, would be seen driving back and forth along the fairway in what I can only imagine is a player looking for his ball.
There was a Marshall on the course; however, he neglected to speak with the players even after commenting to us on how slow they were.
It seems more and more common players have lost their sense of proper etiquette; keeping up with the pace of place is no longer being considered.
Fun course
Staff was friendly and the course was in great conditions. (especially for all the heat we’ve received )Lots of challenging holes. I can’t wait to play again!!
Love this course
Great conditions. Great set up of this curse. Really enjoyed. One off my new favorites.
Turkey Creek
For some reason on the day I played they either over watered fairways so much so you could see wet tire tracks. The fairways where lush so much that my ball on the fairway I was unable to see bottom of ball to accurately define the lie. Any ball short of green left divot causing muddy balls to attack pins, greens though where fast as usual.
Great course
The layout was great, green was smooth ( could be faster , personal preference), fairway was lush but some wet spot due to over watering, probably needed because of the heat.
All the staff starting at the pro staff ( he thank me by using my name ) and maintenance staff were very friendly , they all said “hi” when I encountered them.
Drove up from San Diego to visit my sister in the area, and will for sure play this course again on my next visit!
Texas Guest
I had a cousin visiting from San Antonio Texas and I booked us a round at Turkey Creek. I’ve played this course before and I knew it was the best choice around the Roseville area due to the layout and beauty. The staff were friendly and professional. After our round we enjoyed a couple of drinks in the clubhouse. I definitely will be back with more guests!
Great course for the money
A really nice course in great condition. There are a few holes that are quite a challenge (tight fairways with unplayable woods on both sides, carries over water) but a really fun layout overall.
Great Place to play for guys that have played golf
Love Turkey Creek but know this that this is a tough course and folks taking up the sport should either play from the whites on this course or avoid altogether. It plays to a 4-4.5 hour round but when you have duffers in front of you like I did, it makes it miserable. My only beef was the Marshalls here for from very good to horrible, no in between
Holiday fun
Course May have been in the best shape that I have experienced over the years. Especially the greens. Nice job by the Superintendent!
Tough enough yet most enjoyable.
Have a great 4th!
Great Day! Challenging course
Great day on the course. Turkey creek always exposes your weaknesses but a beautiful course. great scenery.
Great course!
Excellent condition even in a summer month like June. Greens are true and very scenic and sufficiently challenging. Nice cafe and Green fees aren’t bad, same as any muni course.
The course is in good shape. The fairways and greens are nicely maintained. The speed of the greens are good overall. Unfortunately the pace of play was horrible and no marshall to monitor it. It took almost 3 hours to play the front 9 and the back nine holes were just as slow!!! Additionally, on a pretty hot day, the water coolers on the course were mostly empty. When we stopped at the turn for some water, the server at the restaurant stated it's not available because of a water problem but they are more than happen to sell bottle waters to the players!!! For a split second, I thought we were at a PGA Tour Golf event when everything cost money!!!!
Good course
Fun layout, greens rolled pure! Walking the course is good and tough, a couple holes are far apart but overall easy to walk. Great course to work on shaping your shots. Lots of dog legs left, so if you fade it (as a right hander) lots of tee shots are tough. Good times!
