Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln sprawls across rolling hills that are covered with mature oak forests. The back nine even closely resembles Germany's Black Forest. The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry that was transformed into an expansive lake that comes into play on the third and final holes. The golf course is formidable, testing golfers with blind shots and uneven lies, but the challenges are nicely balanced by long, open fairways. Water comes into play several times throughout as well as the towering trees that blanket the landscape. The course will keep golfers on their toes but there is plenty of visual respite available. Players can often catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that call Turkey Creek Golf Club home, including deer, quail, foxes, and of course, wild turkeys.

Great course!

Excellent condition even in a summer month like June. Greens are true and very scenic and sufficiently challenging. Nice cafe and Green fees aren’t bad, same as any muni course.

The course is in good shape. The fairways and greens are nicely maintained. The speed of the greens are good overall. Unfortunately the pace of play was horrible and no marshall to monitor it. It took almost 3 hours to play the front 9 and the back nine holes were just as slow!!! Additionally, on a pretty hot day, the water coolers on the course were mostly empty. When we stopped at the turn for some water, the server at the restaurant stated it's not available because of a water problem but they are more than happen to sell bottle waters to the players!!! For a split second, I thought we were at a PGA Tour Golf event when everything cost money!!!!

Good course

Fun layout, greens rolled pure! Walking the course is good and tough, a couple holes are far apart but overall easy to walk. Great course to work on shaping your shots. Lots of dog legs left, so if you fade it (as a right hander) lots of tee shots are tough. Good times!

Great day at Turkey Creek

Turkey Creek is an excellent track in very good condition. It is a bit challenging but fair, A good variety of interesting holes and is in very good condition. Played the Blue / White combo. Tournament just finished and we were first one out afterwards so the pace was excellent. Always a good place to play.

Beautiful course

Fun course to play! Tree lined rolling fairways, some water, including two par3’s with water tee to green. Rock outcroppings, challenging but not frustrating. Had a blast and can’t wait to get back. It’ll definitely be a regular. The occasional golden eagle, deer, wild turkeys, and watch where you walk in the tall grass and around the rock for snakes. Only saw one, but not a fan! Ha.
