About
Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln sprawls across rolling hills that are covered with mature oak forests. The back nine even closely resembles Germany's Black Forest. The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry that was transformed into an expansive lake that comes into play on the third and final holes. The golf course is formidable, testing golfers with blind shots and uneven lies, but the challenges are nicely balanced by long, open fairways. Water comes into play several times throughout as well as the towering trees that blanket the landscape. The course will keep golfers on their toes but there is plenty of visual respite available. Players can often catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that call Turkey Creek Golf Club home, including deer, quail, foxes, and of course, wild turkeys.

Beautiful course
This time around played at 2pm. Course is in great shape and has an amazing layout. For sure, one of my favorites in the area. Waiting for service in kitchen was slow. Just needed beer for cooler. Need one more associate in kitchen. Driving range and practice greennis perfect. Playing at 2 we should have been finished well before sunset. We almost didn't finish. Ranger was no where around to push the group ahead of us. We ended with a 5 hour and couple minute round. Terrible. Rangers need to be out later now that the days are shorter. I would have given 2 more stars for for pace of play and kitchen.
Excellent Course in very good condition
I’ve played Turkey Creek about a half a dozen times and it’s always an enjoyable place to play. Moderately tough track; have to being your game. Overall course was in very good shape greens were excellent. Only issue was it was very crowded and it took almost 5 hours to finish the round. Apparently Thursdays are one of their busy days. Regardless of the pace still highly recommend playing this course.
MEL'S REVIEW
I'm a senior, 73 years young, and it was my first time playing the course. We played off the yellow tees. When I play it again, I think I'd play either the white or yellow/white combo as the yellow tees were a bit too easy.
The course was in good shape and the greens were in great shape It's ice to get out and play other courses now and then.
Great Course!!
What a hidden gem in the foothills. It is a beautiful course that meanders through oak forests. We saw many turkey, birds, and deer - and not a house to be seen! It has a really challenging layout, so a little course knowledge helps. The greens had been dressed a couple of weeks ago (according to the staff), but showed no signs of distress. They were soft enough to receive any shot well and it looked like most players were good about fixing their ball marks. They putted a bit slow, but rolled very well. We played in 4:10 in 95 degrees, but we really didn't mind the wait as it is so enjoyable with little or no noise other than the wildlife and plenty of oak trees for shade.

This was my first time playing this course and I would play it everyday if I could. The course was in great shape, the staff were friendly as well. Overall great experience.

Thanks for the feedback. Like many restaurants, it has been hard to acquire capable staff through the pandemic. On the 9th, most of our people were busy preparing food for a wedding that was occurring at 5pm. We had marshals on the course from 8am to 6pm that day, I am sorry you didn't see them out on the course. You can always call the pro-shop to request the marshal if you would like, there is a placard on every cart with our course rules and the shop phone number. Our typical pace of play is about 4.5 hours, so I apologize for the slow play on the busy Saturday afternoon you visited us.
