Turkey Creek Golf Club

This course was in great shape for the time of year we played. Finished in less than 4 hours

The course is in great condition however I played in much better courses and paid less.. over priced.

No Marshall and no beverage cart

Snagged a tee time last minute, ended up being a 8am shotgun start. The locals were fun and inviting! Tee boxes could use a bit of tlc, same with the rough (I can tell some of the problems stem from the brutal hot summers), greens were nice though. We encountered a marshall that seemed to be picking on a single group that was having fun which affected our play a bit but other than that a super cool course!

This time around played at 2pm. Course is in great shape and has an amazing layout. For sure, one of my favorites in the area. Waiting for service in kitchen was slow. Just needed beer for cooler. Need one more associate in kitchen. Driving range and practice greennis perfect. Playing at 2 we should have been finished well before sunset. We almost didn't finish. Ranger was no where around to push the group ahead of us. We ended with a 5 hour and couple minute round. Terrible. Rangers need to be out later now that the days are shorter. I would have given 2 more stars for for pace of play and kitchen.

I’ve played Turkey Creek about a half a dozen times and it’s always an enjoyable place to play. Moderately tough track; have to being your game. Overall course was in very good shape greens were excellent. Only issue was it was very crowded and it took almost 5 hours to finish the round. Apparently Thursdays are one of their busy days. Regardless of the pace still highly recommend playing this course.

I'm a senior, 73 years young, and it was my first time playing the course. We played off the yellow tees. When I play it again, I think I'd play either the white or yellow/white combo as the yellow tees were a bit too easy.

The course was in good shape and the greens were in great shape It's ice to get out and play other courses now and then.

What a hidden gem in the foothills. It is a beautiful course that meanders through oak forests. We saw many turkey, birds, and deer - and not a house to be seen! It has a really challenging layout, so a little course knowledge helps. The greens had been dressed a couple of weeks ago (according to the staff), but showed no signs of distress. They were soft enough to receive any shot well and it looked like most players were good about fixing their ball marks. They putted a bit slow, but rolled very well. We played in 4:10 in 95 degrees, but we really didn't mind the wait as it is so enjoyable with little or no noise other than the wildlife and plenty of oak trees for shade.
