Turkey Creek Golf Club

Course was in decent shape. Greens were on the slower side. I would say solid otherwise. As for the marshall…we were waiting for the group in front of us on a few holes, but the marshall proceeds to tell my group we are a half hole behind. I’m not sure how this is possible when we are the ones waiting. As we proceed to the next hole after the marshall tells us we are behind, we have to wait on the tee box for the group in front of us again, but yet we are the ones somehow holding things up. I state this only because I have 1 day a week to relax and enjoy some peace, but the marshall decided not use common sense this fine morning, and tell the group in front of us to hurry the F up. Hopefully you get lucky and don’t have to deal with Captain Notsobovious. Cheers!

I enjoyed Turkey Creek and will definitely play this course again. The fairways and greens were in great shape.

glad i played course. forgot how challenging the course is and what fun it is to play with a great partner. will try to play more often.

Greens are challenging and in great shape.

Pace gave plenty of breathing room.

Overall one of the best courses in Sacramento.

Played there several times and over time it has gotten better. Greens are really good and the bunkers have been improved

Price is less then other in the area and a far better experience.

Really slow round, way to many people on course not moving

The course was great, especially for the price. Good condition, beautiful scenery with lots of shade. However, This is the second time I’ve used the ‘Map It’ directions off the Tee Off confirmation for a Lincoln area course and it takes me way north out in the country round in circles. It even had me thorn left into a field with no road. End destination was the western placer unified school district which I never made it to. Just beware!! Don’t ‘Map it’ from the teeo off confirmation. Coordinates are way off!

Turkey Creek is in prime condition tee to green. It’s a challenging layout but not unfair. Hasn’t played there in years so lack of local knowledge hurt. But I’ll go back soon.

Wish there were more yardage markers along the cart path and on the fairway.

There were holes that I can't locate any yardages markers on the fairway and along the cart path.

No 150 yds white pole or 100 yds red pole along the side to judge distances.

Greems were in good shape consider its a muni course. Too mych watering on the fairway and around the green.

This course was in excellent condition! Really enjoyed this round of golf. Not too crowded either. Maybe it was a combination of early tee time and heat expected for the day but I am already looking forward to the next time I can come back!

This was our second time playing this round coming down from Reno. Pace of play was a little slow and as a rhythm player it was bothersome to have to wait so much. Course was in great condition with a lot wildlife to watch while you’re waiting to hit your next shot.
