Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln sprawls across rolling hills that are covered with mature oak forests. The back nine even closely resembles Germany's Black Forest. The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry that was transformed into an expansive lake that comes into play on the third and final holes. The golf course is formidable, testing golfers with blind shots and uneven lies, but the challenges are nicely balanced by long, open fairways. Water comes into play several times throughout as well as the towering trees that blanket the landscape. The course will keep golfers on their toes but there is plenty of visual respite available. Players can often catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that call Turkey Creek Golf Club home, including deer, quail, foxes, and of course, wild turkeys.

Fun round

Greens were really fun. Good speed and some tough pin placements made the round challenging. We were unable to complete all 18 holes due to slow play ahead of us on the back nine...darkness got us.

Great tract

My wife and I played this course today for the first time and enjoyed the tract. It’s winter so I understand the fairways but the greens rolled perfect which led to some long putts to save par. Enjoy our day

Brown fairways, good greens

This is a sneaky-hard course. Well-designed, there are a lot of holes where the point of aim or distance isn't quite what you'd think.

While the course is definitely not looking it's best right now with the half-empty water hazards and brown Bermuda grass, bare spots are limited and the greens are in solid shape ... and surprisingly fast today, despite overnight rain, so essentially just as playable as it would be in late spring.

Turkey Creek for the win

Can’t say enough about how great this course is. Every tee box, fairway, and green was in great shape, even with the cold weather coming in. Staff is super friendly and pace was great.

Turkey Creek is a hidden Gem

Playing Turkey Creek is always a new place, even though we play this course every year, several time. Wildlife surround the course, even with the new development. New sand has been brought in for the traps. A few trees are being taken out and T boxes are still missing used T's that are broken..

Lunch break was not good. Polish dog was rubber. Not much choice on food. Would have been nice to eat a real dog or choice. Nobody was repairing divots ahead of us. New carts arrived and we got to use it first. Lots of speed. No Garmin to help.

Great course

I really enjoyed my round at Turkey Creek. The greens are in great shape and the course is fun. Being the first group out, we didn’t have anyone in front of us. It was a 4 hour round. Staff was friendly. The only issue I had was having to get a new cart at the turn because the battery died. Other than that, fun, challenging course to play!

Great location - fir now

Beautiful place. Nice people. The impending housing development adjacent to the ounce secluded course will deters the fate. This course has always been amazing +3 because it was secluded. Everything you want for a course... like Yocha Dahee. The impeding housing development of cookie cutter housing has already changed the traffic on the once desolate hwy. play this course before it loses it’s beautiful ambiance and becomes like the other Lincoln/ Roseville courses - surrounded my retirement homes.... and renamed as Lincoln Creek East

Hi,

Just some context: the housing development will have a minimal impact on the visual beauty of the course. The larger of the two developments, esplanade, will only be visible from the driving range, and behind the green of the first hole.

The second development to the east, will be houses with larger lots, and will only be visible on hole 11 and 12, and part of hole #4

We will not be changing our name.

Overall, Turkey Creek will retain it's secluded feel, and remain a golf course that showcases the natural beauty of the area.

~Kindest Regards,

Turkey Creek Management
