Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln sprawls across rolling hills that are covered with mature oak forests. The back nine even closely resembles Germany's Black Forest. The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry that was transformed into an expansive lake that comes into play on the third and final holes. The golf course is formidable, testing golfers with blind shots and uneven lies, but the challenges are nicely balanced by long, open fairways. Water comes into play several times throughout as well as the towering trees that blanket the landscape. The course will keep golfers on their toes but there is plenty of visual respite available. Players can often catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that call Turkey Creek Golf Club home, including deer, quail, foxes, and of course, wild turkeys.

Disappointing

Has been several years since I played here and the course presents a reasonable challenge, but it has gone downhill. Have played below average munis with better fairway conditions - lots of bare spots and ground under repair. Greens were OK save for some ball marks. Took nearly 5 hours to get around and the clubhouse attendant didn't tell me that players were being sent off from the 10th tee that day so I ended up having to figure that out from another group coming through #1. They want $50 weekdays and $60 weekends for this course and it is definitely not anywhere near worth that so I wouldn't bother unless you can find a deal.

Turkey is challenging and fun

Turkey isn’t easy but it’s still fun. Challenging set up that’ll test you the while way. I definitely have a love hate relationship with this course but it’s still one of my favorites.

Course in good shape

For the weather we’ve been having the course is in surprisingly good condition so hats off to the staff.

Greens roll surprisingly true and were running at about a 12 I would say.

Had a slower group ahead of us and Marshall came by to say he could see them playing slow - so he gave them a lil pep talk and we were at a good pace again. Nice to see Marshall get involved instead of just watching and shrugging...

Overall a good day for it being cold and windy.

We will be back.

Fun round

Greens were really fun. Good speed and some tough pin placements made the round challenging. We were unable to complete all 18 holes due to slow play ahead of us on the back nine...darkness got us.

Great tract

My wife and I played this course today for the first time and enjoyed the tract. It’s winter so I understand the fairways but the greens rolled perfect which led to some long putts to save par. Enjoy our day
