Turkey Creek Golf Club
About
Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln sprawls across rolling hills that are covered with mature oak forests. The back nine even closely resembles Germany's Black Forest. The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry that was transformed into an expansive lake that comes into play on the third and final holes. The golf course is formidable, testing golfers with blind shots and uneven lies, but the challenges are nicely balanced by long, open fairways. Water comes into play several times throughout as well as the towering trees that blanket the landscape. The course will keep golfers on their toes but there is plenty of visual respite available. Players can often catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that call Turkey Creek Golf Club home, including deer, quail, foxes, and of course, wild turkeys.

Nice course, but pace of play just ruins the outing.
Nice course, but pace of play just ruins the outing
One of the most scenic courses in the Sacramento area!
Turkeys and deer could be found on the course at any given time throughout our round.. this course is one of my local favorites and the only reason the 4 stars is because my game stinks!
Love the shop fellas bring a cart out to you upon arrival in the parking lot!
Wonderful play, with great views
I encourage anyone who love's the game to come and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, not to mention the beautiful drive to the course.....kudos to the staff
great track, thinking man's golf course
you have to think your way around the course, driver is not always the play. Elevat golf.tion changes and narrow fairways require target golf.
Narrow & target course
This is a up & down course requiring extra or less clubs makes it challenging. There are lot of geese droppings all over the place but the staff kept it pretty clean on the green. The greens were true but slow.
beautiful course
This course was really nice. Lots of granite boulders and wildlife mixed in the woods. Not super long, but challenging.
turkey creek gc
Beautiful surroundings,Fast Play,Friendly Staff.Great Shape.
course was in good condition for the weather and season
a little slow play could have been marshalled a little better
Turkey Creek offers some fun holes like 2 & 18.
Green were rolling smooth and faster than I remember. Had to think about placement with other clubs than just the driver off the tee. It was fun to play.
Course was in great condition. Some maintenance work around a couple greens but manageable.
Great course that is challenging, yet fair. Tree lined fairways require straight drives and second shots but not tricky. Course was dry and fairways rolled very well. Recommend forward tees to enjoy the round. Back tees if you want a challenge and are a low handicaper. All in all a great course for the rate and enjoying a day out with a buddy or relative. Pace of play was reasonable for a holiday compared to other courses. Greens were fast for this time of year.
Challenging But Worth It
Haven't played this course in a long time, forgot how challenging it is. Some water, blind shots but what a beautiful course. You have to keep it in the fairway or you can expect to add an extra shot or two. Had some very hard pin placements and I mean hard but it teaches you to hit your ball a little softer. The greens weren't real fast but they weren't slow either. Fairways were in good shape and the greens were in excellent shape, people were fixing their ball marks, one of my pet peeves. The only thing I felt needed attention were the sand traps. Felt that some of them didn't have enough sand. Overall this is a great course, well worth the visit. I always look for the deals and the time frame is not a big deal to me.
Buetiful course, terrain, trees, water, it has it all.
This is a fairly challenging course, lots of trees, stay on the fairway and you will do fine. Several uphill, and downhill fairways that will make you adjust your shots. I do think this is the prettiest course to play in the Sacramento area. We had a frost delay, and had a mini shotgun start. Pace of Play was great, and staff very friendly.
Fun for all levels of play
I had not played Turkey Creek in several months. Course is in ok shape but could use attention toward weed control and fertilizer. Bermuda grass is taking over the course so it is looking pretty bad in the winter. The greens are very challenging and hard not to have a least one three putt on your score card. Good pace of play was a nice bonus, since pace of play has been a problem in the past. It was Super Ball Sunday. Rather be golfing then watching the 49ers blow it!
Very challenging but fair.
This is one of the best courses I play in the Lincoln area. Friendly and helpful staff and a challenging but fair course. The GPS carts really help if you haven't played there before. Greens are fast. Really nice time.
For January this course was in pretty good shape.
We enjoyed our round of golf and the course and only had to wait the last couple of holes in order to finish before dark. All in all the price we paid through Golf Now made our outing quite pleasurable. We will definitely play here again if the price and timing works with our schedule.
one of my favorite couses in the area
winter conditions - grass was dormat but reasonable playable
Great shape....considering!
GIven we've had 150% of normal rains this fall/winter, T Creek was in very good shape! Greens were slow but well maintained; a couple of greens had 2" collars abutting the green which makes for an interesting chip/putt! Fairways were in good shape overall, boggy in some low spots, though!
Great winter conditions.
Course was in much better shape than other courses I've played this winter. Round was a little slow, but that's to be expected on a Friday afternoon of a holiday week. Good group of folks out here.
The golf course is excellent
This course has great features and challenging holes. The fairways are line with trees on each side. The GPS on the golf cart shows a good picture of the sand trap, wate trap plus other players on the course. The golf course has nice restaurant and the food is excellent. Turkey Creek golf course provide a driving range with sand trap, pinching wedge and putting area all are excellent
Beautiful Course
An exceptional public course which is kept in very nice shape especially considering the weather conditions lately. Nice play, good winter rates. Nice wooded fairways and fun set up.
