Turkey Creek Golf Club
About
Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln sprawls across rolling hills that are covered with mature oak forests. The back nine even closely resembles Germany's Black Forest. The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry that was transformed into an expansive lake that comes into play on the third and final holes. The golf course is formidable, testing golfers with blind shots and uneven lies, but the challenges are nicely balanced by long, open fairways. Water comes into play several times throughout as well as the towering trees that blanket the landscape. The course will keep golfers on their toes but there is plenty of visual respite available. Players can often catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that call Turkey Creek Golf Club home, including deer, quail, foxes, and of course, wild turkeys.

18th tee box, with a few elevation changes and water on the left. If you feel confident, slug it off to the left and clear the water, putting you in a great position for a second shot to the green Photo submitted by copz1998 on 07/20/2018

great shape!
Very relaxing round for my wife and I, we waited a few times, but not for very long.
Love this course
Of our group of 5, 4 were playing this course for the first time. They LOVED it! From the pace of the greens to the overall layout of the course, they could not stop talking about how impressed they were with the course. We are already planning our next outing together at Turkey Creek.
Excellent Challenging Course
This is one of my favorite courses. The course is very well maintained and the staff is always friendly. It is challenging which can lead to a slow pace a play but it is a very enjoyable course.
Love turkey creek
Turkey creek is a great challenging course.
Lots of trees beautiful scenery. Combined with
A mix of tight fairways that make your shot placement critical
And some wide open fairways that can be deceiving if you
Don't know the hazards. Good greens med fast to fast. Well maintained if any thing a little over watered in some spots.
Love this course!
This course is a REAL challenge!!!! Lots of rocks and plenty of water!! You need good course management here!!
scenic with gently rolling farways
turkey creek in lincoln caklifornia, is a very scenic course,
built around an old quarry and some gently rolling hills.
lots of trees, this course has several holes where part of the time can be spent enjoying the view. the architect built severa; tees, so players of all abilities can have fun on the course.
Turkey Creek
My first time at Turkey Creek, but won't be my last. The weather was in the triple digits but the course layout and challenge may it a great day to be out. If you haven't tried this gem get out there and play it. Good luck out there!
Great course at a great price.
We enjoyed the golf. It was challenging but fair. We'll be back.
Fun Course Great Price
Course was in great condition. Really fun round for a great price.
Tough Sunday Pins
Unless your short game is on the mastery level, playing here on a weekend will be frustrating, especially if they tuck the pins into corners on slopes like when I played. Beautiful landscape, great layout with plenty of fun holes. Downside was the conditions the greens were in. Very bumpy and did not roll well. As for the pins, they only affected my score, not my enjoyment of this great track at a great value.
Greens and pace of play were slow.
The greens are apparently still recovering from aerification as the speed of the greens was much slower than past rounds. Also, the course needs a marshall to keep players moving as the pace of play was slow.
Greens slow & bumpy
Although it was a great deal (GolfNow), there was a reason. Got there to find out we followed a tournament. On top of that, there were two foursomes ahead of us that were new to the course and had booked times together. They fell behind the tournament group ahead of them on several occasions, and spent a lot of time searching for wayward shots. They also played the blue tees, which most of them should not have been playing from. Even on par 3 holes, most were short of the greens and when in hazards hit multiple balls.
Complained to course marshall, who just blamed the slowness on the tournament, even though the groups were at least one hole behind at the time.
Challenging course
Overall, the course was in good shape. Pace of play was excellent and the course is well marked. In addition, the GPS system on the cart made it easier to determine the yardage.
A very nice course
A very nice course for the money. Comparably priced to other courses in the area. Some great bargains available on golfnow.com if you look. The course is in much better condition now than it was coming out of winter. They punched the greens about 3 weeks ago and they are healing up nicely. The fairways are in good shape now too. The course has a great layout and is challenging enough. I would recommend playing this course if you have the chance.
Very Nice Course
Well maintained ....No houses on the course.....Hills and some water...bring your A game
Great Layout
Really fun course with a lot of challenging holes. You can either try to over power it or finesse your way around. But either way you'll use most of the clubs in your bag. The greens had been recently aerated whuch was a little disappointing but they should be good in another 4 or 5 days. Overall an excellent experience.
Unprofessional pro shop staff
This was not a good golf experience this time. The person manning the pro shop was not efficient and unprofessional. I arrived for my tee time early and was told that he would try to get me out by my 1:40 tee time. I told him that was fine and purchased a bucket of balls . I had enough time to get toy cart, and get my balls from the dispenser before he called me to the first tee ! It was not appreciated .
Challenging blindshots
Greens are very difficult. Overall good course to play.
Fairways are very trimmed.
Greens recently aerated.
Always love the course, but didn't know the greens were recently punched. Any course in that condition whould offer deep discounts.
A! For aeration
This is a fun course and booked with 65$ rate. Upon arrival noticed the green were just punched on 4/10. No notice provided not even at check in. This course is not worth that price already. Would not play until May 2013 when greens are somewhat healed.
I'd email the golf course directly to make them aware. Golf already takes nearly an entire day as it is. Thanks for the head's up!
You should email the course to make them aware. Thank you for the head's up, golf takes enough hours out of the day already
