Executive at Las Positas Golf Course

Fun but demanding layout. Greens in great shape. I will play again. When I booked the green fees did not show extra for carts.

With so much time to get the course in good condition I was disappointed. Fairways were average and traps were terrible.

Great price and friendly atmosphere and the pace of play is good the greens are well kept and the fairways are good

The restaurant are open outdoor seating only but we like it that way

Reed of Sunday 3:40pm walking and still managed to finished 18 holes in less than 4 hrs. Slope ratings is low but there’s some holes that will challenge your skill. Overall excellent course to play

Last time I played a round was 3mos ago due to the Covid-19 virus. I was a little skeptical about playing golf if it was to soon to be with other player's. Our group kept our distance's as required by CDC and the course rule's at this time. At check in went smoothly, only one person at that time allowed inside the golf shop when checking in. The course was in great shape except for the bunker's. The bunker's were not being managed at the time and had some weed's growing in them. I do like this course since it is close to home, has some challenging holes and mostly is fun to play (in my opinion). Only pricey part of the green fee is the cart fee ($16.00) that I think could be a little less (in my opinion). Yes, I'll play there again and recommend it as well. One other thing due to only one cart per player if tee time is later in the mid morning time there might not be any cart's and one would have to walk the course. Play hard, have fun.

Not cool shouldn’t lose a ball just because my buddy hits it in the rough . The penalty for being in the rough is the shot outta the rough.. I know it’ll get better but...

Way too much money for the value offered even prior to Covid 19. Course is about $35/value with cart maximum!

Course is in decent condition all things considered. Probably best to walk or use a push cart, it’s pretty flat.

With the COVID rules, they are changing things daily, Booked the tee time, confirmed we would still be allowed to use carts, showed up to play, no carts allowed. Do you have hand carts available? Maybe, first come first serve, and singles only, so I couldn’t play with the party I reserved with. Ok, I’ll play anyway. Greens were so covered in sand that it was like putting on a plush carpet (slooooow), and lots of rough didn’t have the grass trimmings removed, so it immediately swallows your ball. 4 shots in the rough, 4 balls lost. Really disappointing. And the bunkers? What bunkers? No sand at all, just rocks and pebbles

This course seems to always over-book. Half an hour behind scheduled t-time.
