Bixby Village Golf Course

I understand that the drought has impacted course conditions, but WOW! Don't raise the price even though the course is getting worse and worse!

This was the 1st time that I played this course since 2019. It was in better shape today, than it was in 2019. Don’t hit into the “Bunkers”, since there is only Dirt and Rocks inside them. You would think that being so close to the Ocean, Management could acquire some sand. The Greens had a couple of brown spots, but overall putted well. The pace of play was a little slow, but you can expect that will the number of “Less Experienced” Golfers that play here. It took just about 2 hours to play the 9 holes. Yes, I will play here again!!

There was barely any green grass on this whole course. The tee boxes were completely dead, the sand traps were hard dirt holes that merged with the fairways, and the greens were so slow and had weeds growing everywhere. Would never play here again

Been to the course multiple times. Got to our 4th holes and our cart died. We ended up walking the rest of the course. Once we finished , we let the person know working there. And just said sorry about that. No partial refund or refund at all. Paid for a cart and got to use it half the time. Makes sense. Also the course has a lot dirt, and not a lot of green.

Local course worth going to if you live nearby. There are many better courses that are also cheaper.

Great layout, challenging tee shots and great weather. But the greens have gone to crap and are infested with weeds, they keep it mowed short but they are no longer greens. If they replace the greens grass it would be a great little 9 hole again,

Night and day difference from the weekend before. Only a slight backup at 2 holes be 2-3 groups deep backups at each hole the previous weekend. The round took 1.5 hours vs 2.5.

They had a starter that helped. Excited to play again.

Wow. It took us over 2.5 hours to play the 9 holes. Each hole was backed up by at least 2, sometimes 3 groups. There was a group of 6 behind us.

Really need marshals to keep the pace going.

Excellent and very friendly clubhouse staff. Did not demand an ID. We were a little bit early, despite that the staff sent us to the first tee.

Never expect too much from the course since it is cheap, but greens were really rough and play was slow. Course let a grroup of 5 play ahead of us. Didn't think they allowed groups of 5, but guess they allowed it because they were regulars. That just makes it suck for everyone behind them

The greens are ok,like mint condition. Although the bunkers are like cement and the fairways need a lot more cutting. Last but not least I won't go there again.
