Tee Time Issues
I reserved a time for 8:30 on 1/31 and when I got to the course I was told that I would not be able to start until 8:50. I was OK with this and paid. When I got to the tee box at 8:15, there were approximately 30 people waiting to tee off. I was told by the starter that this was a social group that teed off at 8:00 every Sunday and I would have to wait until they all teed off. There was no way I was going to start by 8:50. The group apologized for the mix up and the starter said that an 8:30 tee time should not have been made available. The starter allowed us to start on hole #4 and we played 4 - 9, but when we got to #1 to complete our nine hole round, it was backed up and we did not want to deal with hassle of slotting in and left. I am very disappointed that GolfNow would allow the tee time and the course took my money and mislead me about when I would be able to tee off. I will be writing a separate email to the course.
Slow play.
Wait line at every hole Marshall no where to be seen. Usually hangs out at 1st and 9th hole. I don’t see how that’s effective. Players teeing up multiple balls even tho people are waiting. People putting however many shots it takes. Tee time at 230 and did not finish 9 holes in three hours.

Crowded, but friendly
Playing on a Sunday afternoon during COVID, I expected a backup. Took 3.5 hours to get thru 9. Staff was friendly. Tee boxes in poor shape, and greens were uneven. Having said that, it was mellow and fellow golfers had the right attitude.

Bixby Review
Fun little course, only 2 holes with real hazard threats. Tee time was for 8:30am, thank goodness I attived early. I was allowed to get out ahead of 27 player tournament which would've pushed me back later in the day... Greens are kept in good condition.
Rained out tee time with NO refund
My tee time ended up getting rained out. I called course for my refund and they claimed that I had booked thru GolfNow and to contact them for my refund. I went onto my GolfNow profile and Bixby Village was not on my "recent courses played" section. The guy I talked to from Bixby claimed that the course gets ZERO dollars when players book thru GolfNow to play at their course, Makes no sense.

Shameful
This once great little course is in shambles. At a time when golf course are busier than ever and making more money than ever, this course is in ruins. If you are a true beginner and don’t care one bit how the course shape is, this is for you. Most tee boxes are ruined or roped off to some temp tee box and the greens are hairier than a lumberjack. Pace of play...guess. Really a shame. If it was city owned, it would be stellar. Owners putting as little as possible into maintenance. Rumors must be true, the course is going away in the near future. Get the money and run.

Horribly maintained
Horribly maintained. Greens have longer grass than fairways. Fairways are very spotty and half the time ur hitting off dirt. $10 to play after 2:00 is the only upside but course is bad. The old lady who still owns it needs to sell .

Poor condition, over crowded, terrible experience
Paid to play here today and it took nearly 2 hours to play 3 holes. By the 4th hole, there were 4 groups waiting to tee off. The condition of the course is poor, but fine for the price. Not being able to get through 9 holes in 4 hours is horrendous course management.

Goat Trail and Expensive
Booked through "Golf Now" and paid $1.65. As a senior, figured the course would honor their senior rate, but alas, was informed by the starter that if you book through "Golf Now" you had tom pay full freight. No other course I know of operates like this. Anyway, this course has become a DUMP and a far cry from what it was a few years ago. So, you won't see me again and others seeking a better afternoon's entertainment should go elsewhere. There are plenty of options.

Great Fun Course
I played here with my 8 year old and it was a perfect place to play with him. The layout was fun with three short par 4's. There are a few water hazards that make it challenging. The course was in fairly good condition after a full day of rain. The greens were fast bumpy and made it tough to make many putts but playable. They have 2 different tee lengths to make it challenging for a better golfer but easy enough for a newer player. I will come back again.
Friendly Staff at Bixby Village Golf Course
We went out on a rainy day for a fun round of golf. This course, while needing some turf improvements, did not disappoint. We had a good time. Greens were unique in size and shape. A mixture of grasses on the greens made putting a challenge. There is noticeable work on the tee boxes in progress with over-seeding on every hole.
