Rude staff, poorly run
Staff let a six-some without a scheduled tee time. Backed the rest of the course up.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Blue collar 9 hole course with great food
If its pristine conditions you want, go some where else. But if you want a laid back vibe on a fun track with a snack bar that is second to none, this place is great. The burgers, cant be beat. With a smash burger with chipotle sauce and bacon jam, and plenty of beers to choose from, this is more like craft brewery than anything else. Walk it in flip flops and grab some food with your buddies on the deck after the round.

Nice little gem to practice short game
Nice little gem to practice short game but 3 holes you can use driver and stay in bounds even though I can’t drive to the green anyway

Great Value
When booking at Bixby you know what you’re signing up for, yet somehow the course and staff always exceed expectations.

FIx the greens
The overall course is fun to play and provides some challenging moments. The most challenging moments are on the greens. The greens are in such bad shape that it is improbable that you can predict what path your ball will take. Lets just say that the greens need a lot work. The fairways could use a fair amount of maintenance as well. The bunkers are mostly dirt and need to be completely redone. Heartwell recently put new sand in all their bunkers and it is fabulous. Bixby could bring many more golfers in if they would follow the example set by Heartwell's course conditions. Sorry if this sounds like a negative review but I really would like to see the conditions improved at Bixby.
