Montebello Golf Course

Course has potential but the following needs addressing:

1. Sand traps are mostly in poor shape. Little to know sand. Recommend playing them Asner ground under repair.

2. Grass needs to be better maintained. Fairways and rough have gaps in grass. In one case a trap had been flooded and the sand has moved onto the fairway.

3. Driving range is no open for pre-round warm up in the mornings.

They pack the back 9

The most ridiculous thing they do is putting groups on their back nine, so if you’re on the front nine continuing, a group can go ahead and now you’re behind on your course. That is not smart, and it doesn’t allow those who pay full price to finish. Makes zero sense! Never coming back! Plenty of courses who respects those who pay full price.

The course is torn up and the pace of play is frustratingly slow.

The recent storms have left the fairways a muddy mess, and it took us over 5 hours to play 18.

Overall poor experience, don’t plan on coming back.
