Challenging Course with many sand/dirt traps
I played 9 holes at Montebello course this early morning. The course has many sand/dirt traps at each hole, sometimes as many as 5 per hole. The course is long and easy to navigate on foot, but golf cart would save you some energy.
Fun track, will be even better soon
Other than the aerated greens, had a great time here. Once the greens are right, I’ll get this course into my rotation. Used every club on just the front 9!

Half of the fairways no grass
Two or three groups waiting after each holes play

We work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and to best control pace allowing everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. The reason I couldn’t go above 3 stars for this round was because of the bare and muddy areas in a few of the fairways and the completely neglected bunkers. I’ll be back though.

Expecting better.
I was expecting better fairways and greens out there. Very patchy on the front 9.

Punched and sanded
We were not notified at booking that the greens were punched and sanded that week .
Fairways were ruff in spots as well.
It is a nice course when it is in shape.
