Slow play and ugly greens
The green were punched and no one advised us of the conditions. Play was extremely slow… we had a 1050 tee time and did not tee off until around 1110. Then we had to wait at every hole, some holes we had up to three groups stacked up!
Monterey pines.
Was very disappointed course was only half open had to play the back nine twice was not told by GolfNow should’ve been able to get my money back put in my account for another play. The other three in my group were very disappointed. We paid regular price to play a course that was only half open not very happy with GolfNow.
Course was unplayable should’ve got a refund
It’s not very happy with GolfNow. Don’t know if I would use them again. The course was unplayable had nine holes open and still had to pay premium price should’ve been able to get my money back course was unplayable may have to start using golf moose was not pulled at the golf course only was going to have nine holes open, and that we would have to play the same line back to back real disappointed with GolfNow. My friends were real disappointed that I wasn’t told that course was not gonna be playable. Not sure what you guys can do for me. But should’ve been told about the golf course situation before I was able to book
A Tusday afternoon
Front nine greens were punched so we could only back the back. To windy for my taste that day. Food service needs an upgrade no salads available a limited menu.

Well mIntained. Fast hard greens
Enjoyed the manicure and fast greens. Great bargain.
Great shape
This course is always well maintained, has been known to get very crowded on good weather days. The layout is basic, and the course is pretty flat, especially the back nine. Overall a great course for beginner to intermediate golfers.
we won't bother going back
The course was pleasant enough, but the fairways are very narrow. It is not very scenic, and the greens are kind of weird. There is a minimal snack bar there, so nowhere to hang when you are done with your round.
Mediocre Golf in Monterey County
I was hoping to find an alternative to the expensive golf choices throughout the Carmel - Monterey area while on vacation. Unfortunately Monterey Pines is not the answer for anyone with a handicap of 16 or less. Slow round of golf (5 hrs if you’re lucky), a beginner’s course similar to an “executive” course, with average conditions. 2 to 3groups backed up at most holes throughout. Maybe this was all because it was a Saturday, but I’d rather pay higher rates than play here again.
Hidden gem
What a great layout with plenty of challenges. This is a good walk on a beautiful old school course. Definitely welcoming. I’ll be back
Great value
The Golf course is well kept and is well laid our. Easy to walk or ride the cart. The price is amazing and everyone is very friendly.
