Course construction repairs and maintenance.

There golfnow should know when a course is going through serious maintenance and construction. Never seen anything like this,

I am sure it is nice where you aren’t dealing with these issues.

I would have choose another course knowing this one was undergoing these repairs.

I would try them again when things are complete and no major maintenance is going on.

Under Construction and Under the Radar (Literally)

The course is aesthetically displeasing. Between the ear-assaults from the airport and the police tape all over the place (cart paths under construction, an area where the Fairgrounds must be avoided from the tee, gravel, unmarked and indiscernable curbs, ad nauseum), the course is a whopping disappointment. I'll give it a year and then maybe I will go back.

No longer a goat path

For years 'Navy' was a run down course. At present it is in the best shape I've ever seen it in 20 years of playing golf here. Easy, fun, great course for the average guy who wants to have a good time and not end up feeling like he was run over by an elephant.

Nice course. No marshal to keep things moving. Some people a couple spots in front of us were taking it slow and needed to be pushed along or allow others to play through.

Best round for your hard earned money!

The greens are as true as they come. If there was a cart person it would be my home course! The course is in immaculate shape and you will not find a better course for that hard earned dollar!

LUSH FAIRWAYS - GREAT COURSE

This course is very well-maintained. Better than most of the public courses around here. The fairways were lush and green, and the greens were nice and consistent. Pro Shop staff and cart staff are friendly and helpful. Everyone's smiling around here - especially after a good game!

The peeps that work at the course are wonderful people always happy to see a person walk In, always treats everyone like family

Nice and coolI

I had booked a round with a cart but the course is an easy walk. Every time I play I team up with very nice and interesting people and today was no exception. The course is a little shorter than most courses so is perfect for golfers who are not long hitters. When I left the course at noon it was 65 degrees and when I got to Gilroy it was 90 degrees so it was very enjoyable golfing weather. I always enjoy playing Monterey Pines and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Nice 5.5 mile walk.

Crew and course solid. 4 hour round. Some challenging pin placements near edges of green over sand traps. Bring your 60 degree!
