Bobby Jones Golf Course - The Magnolia Nine

Course was in great condition, but price was steep for 9 holes walking.

Played here on 8/7/22 and the course is in terrible shape. Greens aren’t playable. Course has potential but needs a lot of work and money invested.

Such a fun course. Was slightly under repair but it’s one of the best in Atlanta. It’s a must play.

I played the first few holes of Azalea on one of the first tee times available. Overall nice layout and good conditions on the fairways. Tee boxes were surprisingly hard even though it had recently rained. Greens were incredibly sandy so much so that your ball was covered completely in sand after the first couple of rotations of a putt. There was no such warning provided from the course nor GolfNow that the greens were going to be in that condition. Overall, I’d still go back to play because I feel like what I ran into was an anomaly, but still disappointing experience given the price tag.

Great course. I’ve played both the Azalea and Magnolia versions. Pick the right tee # and it’s very enjoyable. I went with the 6. Staff was extremely affable especially Broughton. Greens were freshly punched and sanded so much that they were relatively fast again. Golf now made no mention. Lunch on the terrace is wonderful. Wanted 9 more holes rather than call it quits and walk back up the hill.
