The course at Copper Canyon Golf Club is deceptively exclusive in that although the club has prestige and a luxurious atmosphere, there are some reasonably priced tee times. The layout features an interesting mix of holes that offer panoramic views of the White Tank Mountains to the south. The large, undulating greens that are framed by generous fairways are the trademark of the course. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also sand bunkers situated throughout. This golf course offers four sets of teeboxes. Copper Canyon Golf Club has extensive practice facilities for golfers to use as well, including a full length driving range with several target greens, a large practice putting green, and a short game area with a bunker.

Incredible Shape

I played Quintero and The Boulders prior to playing Copper Canyon today and condition wise it's better than The Boulders and as good as Quintero. Now layout wise it's not either of those courses but it's a very enjoyable course. Houses are on every hole but they are at least 75 yards off fairways so you don't feel like they are lining each fairway. As far as course condition the tee boxes and fairways were actually better than the above mentioned courses. Greens were a little slow but very smooth. Would absolutely recommend this course.

Absolute Gem

The overall conditions at Copper Canyon have to be some of the best in the state. From the practice area to the tee boxes and fairways to the greens, you will be hard pressed to find a course in better condition. If you can get a tee time here, it is well worth the drive.

Course in good shape. Challenging greens. No on course cart service, Snack bar closed on a 100* day. Unacceptable for a Troon course.

Awesome

Really nice track with excellent conditions. Greens were a little slow as would be expected mid-summer, but rolled true and were very soft. The staff was very helpful and a great value course I would definitely go back to.

Nice course in good shape

Check in always smooth. Staff always friendly. Range back on mats, fine except trying to use tees for driver. Couse is always in good shape. They are improving around the greens with grass filling in aeration holes. Greens in good shape. Usually very consistent. Vista nine seemed quicker than Mountain. Played in 3 1/2 hrs which was excellent. Like the layout.

Nice course, quick round

Checkin is always quick and friendly. Starter also very friendly. Range was grass so better the the mats from last time. Really like the Lake/Mountain 18. Course overall very good shape. Some thin spots around the green being worked on. Greens always in great shape, a little slower this time but consistent. Played the front in 2 hours with two slower groups in front. Both stopped after 9 so back in 1 hr 20 min, excellent!!!

Exceptional

This course is a must for anyone not familiar. It’s quite a drive up there past the White Tanks but it’s definitely worth the drive. The greens currently IN THE SUMMER are probably the absolute best greens in the valley right now. They’re extremely soft but very quick and true - don’t give your friends gimmies here because they will likely miss those 2-3 footers if they aren’t patient. Fairways are lovely with the typical few dry spots here and there. The rough is gorgeous. Thick, but not thick enough to lose a ball in it. The place is green, couple of solid water holes, plenty of drinking water stations, entertaining layout, enjoyable practice facility and good service. Just wish tee times were more available before 11am. I think the residents/members gobble all those tee times every day.

Impressive

Easily the most receptive greens of any course I've played in the valley and possibly the smoothest rolling of any as well. Fairways were a little punched up in spots (to be expected) but course was still incredibly lush for the most part. Bunkers were a touch wet after the previous night's rain but were still extremely playable. Just a very impressive facility.

Nice Greens, Quick Round, Good Layout

Friendly check in. Range was off mats which was ok but couldn’t get tee in for driver. Course was in good shape, some bare areas but very good overall. Greens were best I’ve played in the area. Very smooth and consistent. Played in 3 hrs 15 which was awesome.

SLOW PLAY

This is a solid 4 star course. The greens were slow and fuzzy, (wouldnt hold the line). I get it its summer the rates are cheaper therefore the course is not in pristine condition as during prime season, but we still pay to play right? We did not see the Marshall on the course once! I guess it was to hot for them. To bad, it would have been nice to push the groups in front of us as we waited on every hole.

Hands down one of the top 3 courses in the Phoenix area. Very friendly & helpful staff. Course conditions for middle of July are immaculate. Our 4some played in 3.5 hours. It is one of the very few courses that I would drive to the far west valley to play.
