Golfer Reviews
Greedy
All tee times double booked because they know people will still pay to play for some reason. This course is full of beginner golfers so by double booking each tee time they are slowing down an already snails pace of play even more.
Great small course
Perfect to have a quick one! Course conditions are not great but then you get what you pay for and I would still recommend it any day
Newport GC SUCKS
Nothing good to say,
thought i'd get some short game practice.
SLOW, slow, slow...hackers hitting 2 & 3 shots on every friggin shot...
Save ur money, don't golf here.

Bogus booking
I originally booked for 18 holes @ $17/person.....
Reservation chnaged to 9 holes after I booked it.
Anyway, showed up for our tee time.... asked for the manager, she refused to admit any wrongdoing.... wouldn't give an inch.... charged full price for a PIECE OF JUNK CART WITH TORN SEATS......
Once we started playing, we kept going to play full course.....
She chased us down on the 14th hole stating we're only allowed 2 hours for 9 holes....... we made it to 14 before 2 hours..... she only wanted her cart back to xharge another sucker $20 for it...
DO NOT PLAY HERE.....18 HOLES THERE NOT WORTH $27/Person

Great little Par 3!
Reasonably priced, aside from windy conditions we had a great time playing! Never felt rushed as people behind us were also slower paced... the course at hole 4 leads across the street which was a little confusing as there were no signs... but we found our way! Towards the end there was some construction and dirt surrounding the 17th hole ...but we had to skip out early so we quit after 16... still, for the price and convenient location for me, it was overall great!

Just bad.
From the starters all the way to the 9th, getting food( which was terrible as well), and through the last putt on 18. Don’t go. Wasting your time and money. Spend a day off elsewhere.

Plant some grass or sod the dirt
Atrociously bad conditions from tee including tees to green. No grass, dirt,, weeds, mud!, gravel, wood chips,, everything but grass!!??
On a positive note the greens are in excellent condition

Excellent executive course
Good short course. Finished in 2.5 hours. Pace is excellent. Greens are above average for a public course. Fairways are decent. Great place to get a quick round in and work the short game. There’s about 5 holes you can drive to so it’s a good mix.

Slow
Super slow course, we’re stuck behind a foursome that had zero golf etiquette. Made for a miserable day out.
Hello, Freddy. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review of the course. We would like to apologize for the delay of play during your round. Please know that this is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. With an uncharacteristically full day, we work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and allow our guest the chance to complete their rounds. With that in mind, we are working to best control pace and allow everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve and use your comments as guidance in doing so. Thank you for playing Newport Beach Golf Course. We hope to see you again soon.
Avoid
4some “bros” play here who blast music and drunk/drugged. Making pace of play really slow. Hitting off mats and bad course conditions.

This used to be a value course. Now not so much
40$ with cart is highway robbery for what you get. Mats for tee boxes, nothing but dirt not grass anywhere, greens were very unmaintained. And to top it off they over book like crazy! So get ready for three groups at every hole. Save your time and your money
