Pacific Grove Golf Links

A friend and I had the chance to play with a guy from Chicago ( Kevin) and (Walt ) from Vacaville . We will definitely be back to play here and bring the other guys from our regular foursome.

The day was windy, but the views are incredible. They call this the poor and Pebble Beach, this poor guy and friends will be back.

Second time I've played in the last year, BUT this time the greens were punched and sanded and we were not informed. Putting was nonexistent, had so much sand you had to really hit the ball hard to make it go anywhere.

On this St Patrick’s Day, we felt like we were in Ireland or England, (cool high 53F) and somewhat windy! Still, the play, while challenging, was memorable and we will return.

Spectacular views of the ocean on this great course. It has become one of my favorite places to play in the area.

Rode the Blues (5727/67.9/113) in slightly more than 4H in drizzling, very overcast conditions around 60. $50 playing with the SLO Co. Golf Group. Chris, Jeff and Manny were a good group to play with.

Short, tight, quirky tree lined layout on the coast. Fun course to play but was so overcast we missed many of the ocean views. Several holes we only had a general idea of where the hole went it was so gray and hazy. Could not see the green from the tee on several straight away par 4's.

Tees had decent coverage but needed some divot attention.

Fairways and rough both winter thin. Very playable with decent coverage.

Traps were not good, but the rain did not assist. Both I was in could have used more sand.

Small poa greens were excellent. Medium fast and they held approach shots well.

Friendly, quick efficient check-in. Would recommend the double, cheeseburger and Arnold Palmer. Carts were nice but did not have GPS. Layout is not a pushover because of the tightness, the huge trees and the size of the greens. If I lived in the area, this course would warrant a regular play. Recommended.

The greens were slow but in good condition, maybe they weren’t cut due to the heavy rains. Absolute perfect day!!!

As good as it gets. Weather was great, pace was great....I had a couple of chip-in's and a BIRDIE!!! Needless to say, it was a great day!!!!

ZERO complaints. Staff was friendly, other golfers were friendly, weather was perfect....maybe the best round of my life!!! (excluding the score!!!)

Home course and knew what to expect but had not played it in over ten years............Not since management was changed from City employee to Golf Management company.

Folks in the Pro Shop were friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating...........especially for the show we presented them with. Eight (grown men) of Pacific Grove's past home for the holidays, on a few drinks and rambunctious, during Covid all trying to get paid and placed in time to start our round. The pro shop was AMAZING to not only handle it but not make any of us feel like we were anything but welcome. THANK YOU.

Greens were in as good of a condition as ever...........pretty pure!!!

Course set-up was fair and challenging at times. A few diabolic pin placements just the way it should be.

Love this course but the greens in the back nine are a hodge podge of grasses. Speed is all over the place. Views more than make up for it.
