Really enjoyed playing great course but the greens were not in the prime condition

The staff was great. The course was in good shape. There are challenges but it’s not in the length of the course. The back 9 you get your beach golf feel. The deep breaths there make you want to come back. It’s a pretty basic and easy course do to the short holes, but shooting a good round is rewarding regardless.

Course looks good. Greens are a little bumpy. Need to be rolled.

I walked the course and met wonderful people along the way.

Great course, fun! Easy to walk! Fog can be tough in the am (6:45am tee time) everyone should play this course if they can

This was a fun day. Reasonable pace of play with lots of fun challenges.

Played at 640am. Course is in fantastic shape. I had approach shots bounce twice and roll right off the back. Was a only able to stop a handful of shots to the green. Probably the fastest greens I’ve played on here as well. Last time I’m played was like 14 years ago. Wish I could have played again to make up for my mistakes. Love this course.

I've never had the pleasure of playing Pebble Beach, though it's definitely an aspirational goal of mine. In the meantime, I've heard Pacific Grove is a more attainable experience. Playing courses in the South Bay and East Bay, I've dealt with wind, but nothing like this :)

The front 9 as you see in other reviews is fun but doesn't stand out. Only until you hit the back 9 is when things get wacky. Though it was cloudy, being right by the ocean was something to see. Can't beat the views. However, the wind was something that I've never dealt with. I pured several of my irons, but the yardage was short by usually 1-2 clubs. It was funny to see balls that were hit so cleanly, it just dropped out of the air. It definitely added another element. All in all, it's a good time and I definitely recommend it. Everyone was super nice starting from the folks in the pro-shop to the cart wranglers. Definitely look forward to playing again.

Our annual trip to play the “poor mans Pebble Beach” fir my birthday was great. The weather was cool to start then the sun came out ! Finished great. We will come back again in October when it’s warmer. Thank you staff at PG Golf Links.
