Hansen Dam Golf Course

Greens were a 10 fairways 8 overall a good track..staff I know are.doing there job about covid 19 how ever they tend to be rude at times and been to other places and the staff are excellent..maybe training in customer satisfaction...they need alot of help ...

I booked a foursome at $19 each. We had an emergency with one of our cats so my wife could not play. When I got to the course well before my tee time I told the starter there was only three, and there was no mention of a $19 no show fee. We did pay our 3 green fees and 2 cart fees by credit card for a total of $81 credited to Hansen Dam. We did enjoy our round, but I got an E-mail three weeks later from GolfNow that informed me that I did not show up on time AND that my credit card would be charged the $19 for a no show. I've been playing golf for nearly 60 years and I've never had this happen before. I was told by a starter that this policy just went into effect in May 2020 and that they were just following policy. The public should be aware of this no show policy, especially upon checking in and not be surprised by an email 3 weeks later...not good policy or customer service! I like the course but cannot recommend it given your policy and I will not play here again!

I love playing this course. It's wide open and forgiving but some holes are challenging. It's in a less desirable part of L.A., which may keep some people away, but the course is really well looked after. It's a tad too busy at weekends, which means a little waiting around and the clientele don't always follow the rules of pace. But I've teed off twice on a Sunday at 5pm and made it to hole 15 and 16 by 8.15pm and then it really is too dark to sensibly play on. Lots of passers by, walking around the Dam, and coyotes and skunks late in the day. All in all, a lovely experience

I’m just really getting back into golf after not playIng or seldom playing for the last 5 or 6 years. I have played some of the LA muni courses recently and in the past and this course in my opinion is the best test of golf among the SFV muni courses. Although you could hit a driver on every par 4 it doesn’t reward you if you do. We tee’d off at 610am the greens rolled very true. But the 4 or 5 hole the moisture started to dry out and the speed and break was picking up. Some of the par 4’s are legit and a few of the par 5’s are to. This course will get you to hit every club in your bag for sure. I’m looking forward to giving this course a go again in the near future.

The course has been kept in good shape. Pace of play was fast. Definitely will play here again

You guys overbook your t times I’ve played this course about 5 times in the last few days, haven’t able to make it to the back nine that’s how overbooked you guys are. I don’t even remember how the back nine feels like. Thank you.

Real gem of a course. Open and forgiving but the par 5 holes are monsters. Two holes uphill

I made my tee time thru Golf Now and paid the $13 convenience fee. They said the amount due at the window would be $76 for four. It ended up being $93 for three. Not really sure how it all works, but something doesn’t seem right.
