Located in the heart of the Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley, Woodhaven Country Club offers panoramic views that stretch across the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains. The golf course has a traditional desert landscape but the stunning mountain views elevate it to a truly unique experience. The course has a classic design that is player friendly enough for beginners and even gentle enough juniors. It may not be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, but more advanced players will appreciate it for a quick casual round. It's also great for working on your short game skills. The golf course is short and tight with immaculately manicured greens. You won't find much water at Woodhaven Country Club except on the 17th, which seems like its nearly all water.

Course conditions

Pace of play was great no one out on the course. Few things that was not brought to my attention when booking the tee time that the carts had to be in by three pm and we teed off at 12pm. No one said anything about temporary greens. There were at least 6 temporary greens.

Woodhaven GC 8/8/24

Apparently course was currently under renovation, greens were hard dirt, fairways had cones and holes in random places. No drink cart. We picked this course thru pictures on gol now site, but it was far from being anything close to them.

Greens were being aerated and reseeded

Didnt know greens were being reseeded and aerated. Hole 14 was closed entirely. Most back nine greens were not really playable. Mostly dirt.

Worst greens ever..

Yesterday I play at the Woodland Haven country club at La Quinta CA and the recommendations were excellent so I trust the advice. However on the spot the greens were execrable very bad, full of sand, and one hole closed. I would like to have a credit..
