Located in the heart of the Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley, Woodhaven Country Club offers panoramic views that stretch across the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains. The golf course has a traditional desert landscape but the stunning mountain views elevate it to a truly unique experience. The course has a classic design that is player friendly enough for beginners and even gentle enough juniors. It may not be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, but more advanced players will appreciate it for a quick casual round. It's also great for working on your short game skills. The golf course is short and tight with immaculately manicured greens. You won't find much water at Woodhaven Country Club except on the 17th, which seems like its nearly all water.

Woodhaven
Play was slow. At approximately noon the jam the tee off times every 7 minutes. The caliber of golfer is not always the best which really slows down play. Over 4 1/2 hours.
Not Ready For Prime time
The course was under heavy maintenance. Noisy trucks and equipment everywhere. Noisiest round of golf ever. Greens sandy, rough not cut and way too high for an average golfer.
I walked off after 12 holes.
Very enjoyable
This course looks deceptively easy-take a second look. Narrow fairways, slightly sloped greens, manageable water hazards, a very pleasant challenge. Best looking course so far during this trip. The greens were great - just verticut, not rolled but still smooth and firm. Staff was helpful and friendly. I will play it again.
Woodhaven
My wife and I enjoy playing Woodhaven every time we come to the desert it is a good value and people are very friendly. The only thought is they are always running behind on their tee times half-hour too 45 minutes then pace of play is slow. But we like Woodhaven.
Nice course in great shape
Excellent course and range. They were backed up a bit and we tee’d off 45 minutes late. But pace was ok when we got out. Greens and fairways are in great shape. Stay out of the rough. It’s thick.
Slow
They had a tournament in the morning which delayed the rest of the teetimes up to 45 minutes. Because of the delay we were not able to finish 18 holes and can only finish 15.

Our "home" course
We're the crazy people who come to the Desert during the summer. While we play all over the PSP area, Woodhaven is our "go to." Can get around in less than 2.5 hours during the summer. Staff is terrific. Course in good shape with the heat. As I write this, I'm thinking, "Why am I telling others about this place?" Been playing here for probably 15 years. In-laws played there before. Great to have the owners take over the course. Perhaps one day, we'll join them.

The course has potential
I like the layout and the carts are very nice. Greens and fringes are in good condition but the fairways are horrible!! I’ll let the poor fairway condition go considering it’s not golf season yet. I’ll try to update in the upcoming months
