Everything about the course was great. From tee to green even the pace of play.

Had a blast here both times I played. Course was maintained lots of friendly staff and very forging for a not so good player like myself.

Not really any issues with the course, nice layout but maybe traps need some help. Good time

There are lots of courses that can really punish a golfer but this course is pretty fair. The course was in good condition -- the driving range felt a little beat up but absolutely no complaints on the course. The staff were also very friendly.

My biggest complaint is the lack of food cart service. Be sure to bring something to eat or drink if you can't make it through to the turn.

The fairways were phenomenal. Easy to discern the difference between fairway and rough. The rough was kept well manicured too. The greens were pristine. Easy to putt and in good shape. It was one of my best golf experiences this year.

nice course in excellent condition, The design is not the most exciting. Has nice grass driving range.

The greens were still a little sandy (back nine), but that is expected this time of year and the tee boxes rather lumpy. However the fairways, bunkers, and the first nine greens were all in outstanding shape. Compliments should are owed to the maintenance team.

Pleasantly surprised. Great views of hills and cultivated fields. In very good condition...greens excellent. Shot to 18th green was beautifully framed. Great finish to a terrific day.

I haven't made the drive down to Petaluma in awhile to play this course and I won't likely do it again without a compelling reason to do so. The course is in great shape and I did particularly like the condition of the greens, however, it really likened itself to the numerous public courses in my own backyard and as a result I was not overly impressed with any of the course features.

I didn't play great and I didn't play poorly, however, there is nothing memorable that I can take with me from the round. Too bad for me, only a 40 minute drive from my house.

Course was in great shape and was not real crowded. Nice scenery and airport was quiet because of winds too strong for airplanes to fly. Ha Ha. Birdied # 9 so it was fun.

I would play this course again. Petaluma has some very nice courses...

Fairways are nice, roughs are. Greens are very nicely maintained. Busy airport is next door but I like airplanes. If I didn't the noise might be a problem. Traps are deep and soft so stay out of them.

Straightforward course with not many obstacles. The course could be in better shape, as I fixed about 10 ballmarks per green, with dozens left. Also lots of unrepaired divots in the fairways. I went thru my bottle of seed mix in just a few holes. Pace of play was not bad, until the end. But the sights of the vineyards are very nice. Great value if you can get 18 in on the twilight rate.

Course was the right amount of challenging with two different feeling front and back 9's. Loved the grass range to warm up, and the staff was also very friendly and comfortable. Will play here again and recommend to fellow golfers.

We played 18 on a Sunday in just about 4 1/2 hours. Pretty good. The course was in good shape with the exception of the area in front of the greens. It seemed very soggy and mushy on quite a few holes. Besides that, great time on a challenging golf course.

The greens have been recently sanded - slow. Good value.

Rooster Run is a fun little course hidden up in Petaluma. The facilitates are pretty modest however there is a nice grass driving range. The course is pretty flat for the most part. Water hazards come into play frequently on the front nine & occasionally on the back. On the back nine there is a par 3 with somewhat of an Island green. It is a fun little hole to play when it is not overtaken with geese. The 9th & 18th holes are long par 5's with very well protected greens. Water guards the 9th & trees create a gate to enter the 18th green. Can't beat the conditions & course for $30 w/ cart!

Mud, Mud, Mud,.....to be expected this time of year and with as much rain as we have had. Greens are in very good shape right now, but I wish people would repair their divots. Amateurs !!!
Front nine had lots of groups, but the back nine had nobody. The course was wide open..... Be prepared for the mud and you will have a great time. Best part of this course is that there are no houses anywhere !!! but 3 holes are right along the runway of the Petaluma Airport, but that is no bid deal, especially if you like experimental planes, and No jets !!!!
