Rooster Run Golf Club

this course was in decent shape for the time of the year and all the rain we have had. Not sure I feel like this is a $72 a round weekend price course though. I would much rather play windsor golf course for the money. But if you can find a good deal like I did on this site its worth checking out (I found a hotdeal for $22 w/ cart).

considering the heavy rains a couple of days ago, the course played very well. the conditions were nearly the same as if there had not been any rain. the fairways and greens played fair and true. for many years this course has been a favorite for me and my golf buddies.

Rooster Run is the best draining course in the area. There were very few areas of standing water and after the amount of rain we have had recently this is definitely the place to play

Great Deal course a little soggy after rain but in good condition. Staff very friendly.

I love Rooster Run. It's challenging, but a fun course. pace of play (like almost all courses we've played) can be slow. why is it that almost all courses never tell the slow group to pick up pace?

Course was in good shape just played a little slow as they had no marshal out on the course

Course in good condition, green everywhere. Playing from the white tees, most of the holes were short to moderate in length, good for players like myself that are not long hitters. Large grass driving range and practice putting green to warm up on.

great fall day,pace was fast,had a good score and home to see the Giants win game one.

Good value. Challanging holes. Could use a restroom or two. I love airplanes but the can be distractive here. Staff was friendly. Recommended course.

Very nice! Course has charecter. I would definately play rooster again .. Greens were plush... I think they were recently arated

This is a nice course especially for the $. The greens are very smooth and nice rolling, fast but not to fast. Fairways are pretty wide but plenty of hazards and ob if you do not hit a good shot. Very well kept course with friendly people.....All good in my book!

Enjoyable to play, plenty of challenges along the way. Decision making critical in order to avoid trouble.

I was pleasantly surprised that this course was as good condition for the money. Pretty wide open but it's windy in the afternoon. Great pace of play and staff was friendly.

This course was in excellent condition and the pace of play was perfect. Even though the greens had been recently plugged and sanded, they were still quite good - smooth and fairly quick. The staff were friendly. Overall excellent.

Playing this course was a fun and most enjoyable experience - the scenery is very nice and we loved the adjacent small airport and restaurant.. It turned out to be much more than we expected.

I had a nice experience at Rooster Run. I hadn't played there for quite awhile and did not know what to expect. The price was right and the course I felt was in great shape. Though the course was a little wet , the tees and greens were really in good shape. I was just mentioning lately to friends how good the greens were at Rooster Run. My son and I had a great time and would highly recommend Rooster Run.

Played there in August of 2012. Great little course. Moist conditions, great area. Dress warm, even if you think it's going to be plenty warm, the cloud cover and moist environment make it chilly.

course was a little out of shape---greens were just aerated[we booked without that knowledge] fairways were bare in places from lack of water.

This course generally seems to be in good condition and good shots are fairly rewarded. The greens can be very fast with a lot of undulations but at least they seem consistent. Also available is one of the best ranges and putting greens in the area.
