Aero Club Short Course

Sand Wedge and putter all that is needed. Greens roll true and faster than they look. Greens also hold and can spin wedges back. Rest of grass is dormant but not a problem. No hole over 95 yards. Great value for working on those shots from 100 yards in. 9 holes in under a half hour. Great for my wife who has trouble getting the ball in the air and hitting it more than 120 yds. No forced Carrie’s for her so great practice and confidence builder for her as she is learning and only having played a few times. Today got her first regulation pars, one on a chip in and another lipping out for birdie. Very proud of her. If I lived here, would take her there once a week until she developed her skills for a bigger test I wish there were more of the places that seem to be a dying breed in the last 20 years or so.

Great play. Never hit from mats before so was challenging but ground was soggy from the rain so they were protecting their tee boxes. Greens are in great condition cannot wait to play here when the lights and music go on some night in the future. Overall challenging relaxing fun short course Great for those wanting to get into gold with the long tee drives.

Great 100 yard course my short game will definitely be better after this exercise. Greens were fantastic. I was first out, course took me 45 minutes.

A fun way to work on your short game. Course is usually in good shape. Everything in the Grand Strand seemed wet and flooded this week. Greens are nice. Each time I've been, the mats are the required tees. Most players will be ok with a PW, SW and putter. Fun atmosphere. I've never seen it crowded. Between the airport and the loud music though, don't expect to talk to your partners.

Nice 18 hole par 3 to practice your short game. Course was a little wet from weekend rains. I was the only one on the course at 5:00 probably due to wet conditions. They play music while you play & also have lights.

Perfect place to practice your short game. Greens were in excellent shape. Very friendly staff. The only drawback that I see is having to tee off from mats.

I played the Aero Short course yesterday. I enjoyed it very much. It’s a perfect place to work on the short game for a reasonable price. I played alone and played a couple of balls per hole for practice. There was no one directly behind me. The only negative was the greens were recently aerated which is a necessary part of course maintenance but it made the putting slower. I found the staff at the club to be very friendly and recommend the course to anyone looking to tweak their short game skills.

Greens are awesome. We had to hit off mats due to rain but it was fun. Good value. Greens are better than some bigger courses.

Situated right next to the airport, with planes landing almost right above your head (so cool), this short little course is a perfect way to start off a Myrtle Beach golf trip, just pack your clubs into your rental car, stop into the course, just carry 2 wedges and a putter, and work on your short game, with greens that are absolute perfection, and probably one of the best you will experience on the trip. Music throughout the course gives it a relaxed chill feel, and enjoy some beers as you complete your round in well under 1 hour and 30 minutes.
