Winter conditions
The dry summer and lack of grass growth is showing on this course in bare muddy patches. Today was cart path only which was understandable considering the poor conditions.
First tee time
First group out. Played in 3 1/2 hours. Fairways were a little brown and hard but expected during the winter. Greens in good shape. Overall enjoyable round.
Dry fairways
Welcome to winter golf. Dried up fairways but nice greens. Would be nice if people knew how to fix their divot on the greens. Just a few lazy dumb idiots who shouldn’t be out playing if they can’t honor the game
Good Muni
Overall the course was good. Greens in good condition. Fairway grass has turned brown but coverage is good.
Good Course
The course is very playable, good length, and right now the greens are in great shape and playing at I would say 10.5. Great speed
Completely enjoyable
As a beginner, the course was challenging but not over the top. The conditions were excellent for me. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course was crowded, wait between holes was always fast, never more than 2-3 minutes.
I was a single and matched with very friendly players.
The entire experience made me want to get right back out there again as soon as possible.
Very nice course
Fairways , greens are in very goof conditions. Tee boxes are needed some TLC. Overall it is a very goof course, I will be back.
Golf in California ALL year long...
Staff members were the best. The place was packed and everything went well. Weather was in the low 80's and the pace of play with our four some was 4 hours. I have to give a special thanks to the Courses Tee Time person because I took my putter out of my golf bag the day before to cut off the strands on the grip and never put my putter back. They loaned me a putter which I thanked them 10 times over. Diamond Oaks is a county course but is always fast and fun .
Good Ciurse
Nice wide fairways, greens were in good shape, and pace was nice. The only drawback was the tee boxes were a bit rough.
What a stupid review. It just rained hard before your round...of course there will be mud spots on a Bermuda course after rain and the turf being dormant..winter golf deserves winter golf reviews.
