First time
Had a good time. We were paired up with a couple of regulars who were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely would play again.
Great condition for this time of the year
Took advantage of some unusually nice weather and played at Diamond Oaks. 30 minute frost delay in the morning so the course was busy but the pace wasn't too bad. Fairways were in good shape, greens were excellent. Good muni course worth the green fees. Fun day!!
Good course, poor driving range
Overall the course was a good. No tee's (rubber) on the driving range pads and they were too far back from the grass to use my own tees. Very difficult to warm up your driver.
Course is in great shape for December. Staff is friendly and accomodating.
Had a good time and quickly finished my round. Players seem to understand the term "ready golf".
older muni course, still in good shape and challenging
greens were starting to come back after being plugged 3 weeks ago, fairways wet in spots, rough was short, course is short but a must to keep ball in fairway and away from lots of trees. greens will be very tough when back in shape. overall a good course to test your shot skills.
Wonderful public course, generally slow playing but in excellent condition for the amount of use.
Unfortunately, both the greens and fairways had been punched earlier in the week. As a result the greens were very slow and unpredictable, however, the fairways remained fairly easy to hit off of. The one advantage of the condition was that there were fewer players than usual and the game played faster. The course should again be in excellent condition within the next couple of weeks.
better courses in the area for the price.
Greens not well maintained. Course was a little soggy in some areas.
I very much enjoyed this beautiful course!
Very nice open fairways with challenging greens. I will definitely return repeatedly.
It was a great way to spend a saturday afternoon
Great course, very open. no real pressure to play fast. for 16 holes our threesome could not see anyone else on the course.
The best kind of golf
Course is is excellent condition right now.
Staff was very friendly and very happy to greet a GolfNow customer! The course is in really good condition right now. Fairways fairly firm with decent roll out on well struck drives. Greens very receptive to well spun iron shots. Greens rolled true and speed was consistent on all greens. There were a few unrepaired ball marks, but looked very recent, as in NOT the courses fault. A few bare spots in chipping areas around the greens - but only a few.
People were friendly. Greens were in good shape. Fairways were good.
We enjoyed great pace of play. The course was not crowded due to the heat being near 100. Diamond Oaks is one of our local favorites.
I liked the course. Friendly staff, greens were well maintained. I will golf here soon.
I liked the course. It was well maintained. The front 9 was rather slow, no golf marshall to help speed groups up. The back nine was awesome because there was no back up at any of the holes. I will play here again.
This course is good for moderate ability and value priced
Municipal course - in decent condition and good value.
long time muni
great course for those who walk. some gentle elevation
changes to provide a challenge. lots of birds, especially
geese and some new egrets to see. some traps and trees
for those who stray. a great way to start a day is a fast
18 at diamond oaks.
Good Course
I've played this course regularly for over a year now. It is in good condition and the staff are very helpful.
Stay Clam at All Times
Fairway second cut is way to long and wet. You can't find the balls just feet from the first cut. This slows play and kills the score card.
Also the maintence crew needs to shut down mowers while the players play, if within 50 yards of the player. At leat stop moving and power down. Makes it tuff to focus, just ask Tiger!
Diamond Oaks is just right for bogie golfers
I have recently taken up the game of golf. Diamond Oaks affords me to play from the rough rather than take a drop because of a lost ball. I find myself playing a lot more often in my own fairway these days. The staff has always been friendly.
Good bargain, needs a marshall
This course is a mature course and is in generally very good condition. My only concern was that they have no marshalls. We had an issue with a single jumping ahead of us on the last hole as it was getting dark and we ended up playing in with him but at first he was very beligerant saying he had to wait for us. He calmed down. Marshalls are a good thing for pace of play and player safety,
Fairways in good shape, greens ran true with nice speed, water stations were clean & cold, and speed of play was very comfortable.
Diamond is in great shape for an older course that's had it's troubles in the past. Everything is very green for the start of Summer. Nice comfortable, straight forward, course lacking all the "quirkyness" of the newer "designer courses".
