Great Layout
This canyon course is a beauty!
Unfortunately using a golf cart here is ridiculous. One, the cart cost $28 for one cart , two riders. Wow!
Second, you don’t really want to drive the humpy, bumpy fairways and cart paths. Those are in terrible condition. Nothing but holes everywhere . Too bad, poor maintenance bringing down an otherwise nice course.
Lovely Sunday
Had a Sunday session at 8:30am and although that sun was beating down on us, it was a fun Sunday morning spent. Course was pretty good. Greens are definitely on the more difficult side vs. other courses in San Diego. Really tests your read ability. Oh, also got a birdie on one of the back 9 holes so that felt amazing👍🏽
Nice greens, the rest of the course needs a lot of attention
P With a little bit of work, this course could be much nicer executive course. The tee boxes were like Concrete, fairways were less than stellar. Sand traps like beach rubble Maybe a little bit of attention to these areas would help. Greens played nice though. Beautiful scenery in a natural setting.
Great value and fun track to work on your game
It's a solid 18 hole executive course that allows you to use all your irons. Each hole has its own unique layout and it has varying lengths and elevation changes to account for. For the price, I can't complain about the conditions, and it's a good walking course if you don't mind a couple hills here and there.
Fun place to play
A little shaggy in places, but the greens are nice.
You may be surrounded by novice golfers, don’t let that bother you. They’re having fun and you should too.
No Changes
Course hasn’t improved at all since I first played here I was excited at first because I just live down the road and it’s convenient for me to play a twilight If I felt like playing last minute but the last few times I’ve played the course just looks terrible carts are outdated and hard to turn the wheel definitely get what you pay for low price low quality course definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND! Just as bad if not worse than eagle crest
