It just looks better
I hadn’t been to ST in a long time I have been stuck at SJ muni for past 6 months.
I know they must have aerated the green awhile ago because they’re in great shape.
I made more long putts in a long time, I did three putt a couple times, but that’s because of not being use too the speed.
I know they are not the best greens in the world. But they are much better than SJ Muni.
Fun course to play
I really like playing this course. It’s usually in good shape for the amount of play it gets with a great layout.
Love to come back again and this course is walking friendly.
Bunker practice
Showed up a couple days ago to practice bunker shots. The practice bunkers are horrible!! It’s like trying to hit off of semi dry concrete. Small rocks and pebbles.
Either repair the bunkers with sand or close them down! Not good for clubs!!
Improvement
The course looks better than 2 weeks ago . The 10 hole showed great improvement from last time.
Still once again someone hit into our group without saying fore.
I didn’t like how I put these greens. I only made two putts all day,and I’m a pretty good putter.
Walkable fun course
Very walkable course with interesting layout. My only complaint is the bunkers have very little sand making inconsistent play out of the bunkers. I do recommend the course. In addition to the course there is a second par 3 course, an awesome driving range and huge putting green and chipping area.
Santa Teresa
Fun course. Not too difficult but a few challenging holes.
At the end of the day, I leave thinking I want to play there again.
Rude lady at the club house
Showed up 8 minutes before my tee time. I was told they gave my spot away. No where on their reservation does it say you must check in 10 min before. The lady at the front was not accommodating and flat out rude because I was unaware of their “policy.”
Need to improve conditions of the bunkers. Sand is like cement.
Great course but very slow on weekends.
The course is great for a muni but on weekends it is extremely slow. We finished in about 5.5 hours.
No rental clubs
I was happy I called to check to check about rental clubs.
They don't have them.
I brought an old set of mine for my out of town friend's to share and the people in the club house tried to tell me it was not allowed due to pace of play. I split the set in two and went about our round holding no one up.
Iv'e played this course 100 times or more . They could of handled it better.
